here's my five cents
I don't really like this update. Warlight's focus used to be on the game and the users, now that's obviously shifted solely to making profit. I realize Fizzer put a lot of effort in this place over the years and deserves to earn from it, I just hope it doesn't ruin everything that made Warlight so unique and lovable place in the process.

Came to the forums to read about the coin tab and surprised by all this hate...do people realize Fizzer has to pay the bills?

Even if the idea repulses you, just don't play the coin games...simple as that.

Okay, i can't comprehend the indignation.
Those coin-games are an additional option and though it is very limited i think for people who want this it is quite fun.

If you don't want it just send me a message and i invite you to your first and last coin-game...
i would appreciate your free given coins ;-)

I think most of the indignation is from a fear that coin games will become the focus of the site to the detriment of the aspects that we all love. And I don't think that's an entirely misplaced fear.

I understand we're trying to avoid fraud here....but $75 is WAY to high. This factor alone means I won't be using this feature. That high of a limit makes it so that unless you're a god at WL, buying $5-20 is pointless, because you'll never get that money back, even if you win 60% of your games. I love the addition in concept, but I think it needs quite a bit of tuning for it to be effective or useful.

$75 is incredibly high.

Also there's a 10% house edge on 2 player games. And a 20% house edge on 4 player games. Those seem quite high also.

Especially when the house doesn't even have any risk. It's more of a rake.

I'm also slightly annoyed that this came as a higher priority over a competitive system for clans. I understand that one is more lucrative but....come on.

Thx Fizzer for this great upgrade! I like the coin games.

But that you can see the coin games in both the MULTI PLAYER -> Open Games tab, and at the COINS -> Open Games tab is a bit much. For the players that do not want to play coin games it might even be annoying.

Fizzer, please make a "Hide Coin Games" option just like the "Hide Lottery Games" or show the coin games only at the "COIN" tab.

Interesting update

A bad joke, win a 4ffa coin game and get from ~30% Level 50 to ~30% Level 51 is this true? In not coins game you would need a 40ffa to get the same result. Fizzer this coin idea support "cheating with money" think about it!!!

yea i got 65,000 points + 5,000 for an acheievemnt for winning a coin game

Thats so shit i am under 18 and if you gets the 10 times of points by a coin game ...

Please don't say it's over for you. Other players getting points doesn't hurt you at all. Your games still give you exactly the same amount of points. I do think it should be much less of a disparity between the 2 (if these numbers are real and not because of some other factor), but it really doesn't effect you at all for not playing in them, unless your goal it to have the most points on the site.

Yes your right however i feel pranked. You could play the exactly same game but in coin games you gets ten time higher points. Thats still not fair. For example if you work in a job and would do the same things like your other worker but gets 10times lesser money than you would feel pranked too.

I wont buy anything. the Level arent the importents things but the game still should be fair. Dont care if you use money or not. But i think 10x more points is very much. I could explain it better in german.
