Since I've been playing this game for a bit now, as a member of the strat community I always wondered why I hadn't seen a list of the best active MME players. This is of great importance however, since the 1v1 ladder uses this template and a lot of players look up to the strongest players on it. So after careful consideration I've come up with a list of its most solid players. I hereby present you the Top 20 Active Players on MME (in order):

Does being good in commander MME no cards also count for this?

Luckily there is a 1v1 Ladder Ranking. Despite being controversial in some degree it gives a good picture of the strength of the players who currently care actively enough about their 1v1 MME Ranking on the ladder :P

There is no excuse to end turn 2 on 9 income after picks. None.

Linberson and nickpugs over the likes of 89thlap and Pardon is also ridiculous.

I think Sanmu is too high on that list.

I would rank them differently.

I'm very aware that no one would with any understanding of the template would rate Sanmu anywhere near a top 20 list. I don't think I'd belong on such a list either fwiw, but much closer to it than sanmu, as he's legitimately bad at the template. Not everyone reading this thread is ncessarily good enough at MME though to know how silly placing sanmu on it is though.
