The warlight forum makes me sad, we hve grown to be a very mean and sadistic community.How did we allow ourselves to decline to the point where the definition of a warlight forum troll years ago now fits most of the commentators, our trolls have evolved.

Commentators? You mean Gnuff, Firdge, Pushover, Dom and ps? Or did you mean most of the people who post (comment) instead of commentate?

not all of us are mean there are several mean and hateful people on warlight but those are just the ones that stand out

lol I've noticed there is a ridiculous amount of hate toward new folk from a lot of the people in-game lately, especially vets, which I find interesting (and stupid, if you like playing the game haha) but it doesn't particularly bother ME or anything, hahaha. There seem to be a lot of "popular" users who definitely feel cool and are dicks for no real reason.

To be fair, on the other side, there are still far more and frequent old-time users who are nice and level-headed and try to help the new folk and all that, the douches just stand out lol

Is it only me, or do the last two posts sound like they were accusing me and the other warGamingLive commentators for no apparent reason? Guys - when you post - get into consideration the context of previous posters, or otherwise your posts may get misunderstood...

Firdge I am sorry but I don't think they were talking about the commentators, i was kidding :P I don't have any idea where you got that from tbh... I mean suqm might be talking about Gnuff, but not the WGL group as a whole :P

Also suqm, I am interested to see what these "vets" are saying, and who they are. Most people keep their cool on warlight unless they are drunk or are 10-year-olds, and I doubt we have a significant number of top-1uality 10-year-olds here.

I don't mean WGL commentators i don't watch WGL so i don't know if you guys are mean or anything i am talking about forum posters(that's a better word that commentator to use here).

Ironheart - Yes, sometimes we are mean, sometimes we are rude, sometimes we make fun of people, but mostly we just have a good time and hope the rest have some good time as well while making it possible for the audience to improve their gameplay.

Yes, the forums are bad. There is no oversight and no organization to them. They have the potential to be so much better. Either Fizzer does not want that, or doesn't have the time to make them that way. Whichever it is, they have deteriorated at an alarming rate IMO. Worthwhile threads get pushed to page 3 while the top pages are just filled with junk most of the time.

Maybe forum-visitors could have the option to click "noteworthy" on any thread they read, and if a thread gets enough votes this way, it is automatically put above older threads that did not them.
(although, i do not think Ironheart was talking about spam, more about trolling)

Huh, I must not have noticed the world going to hell. Ahh well. Sometimes it pays to be oblivious. :P

I've been on the forum for a year now, and it has been during that time relatively nice and quiet. However through the summer holidays/ Christmas etc. more people have breaks from school/Work and play warlight, create tones of threads which are unessasary and irelavent, then leave after the holiday. Then it gets more peaceful ( there are still trolls of course but less ).

The reason why the forums in a bad way now is because of the summer holidays and 2.0 has been realised, new players and trolls in hordes have taken over the forum with spam and excitement. E.g there where about 10 threads about ADS.

My suggestions for the future, create an events section for the forum, the off topic thread is more active with these threads^^^^^^^. Also have a invite list to forum threads.

Let us include spam in the bad stuff too.Yes, the forums still make me laugh though and despite your meanness i still come back like an emotionally abused girlfriend i just can't get enough of this forum well till the forum beats me up then i go away for a while(is this a bad simile, don't take offence to my bad simile.)
