Long story short. I won't be doing the Warzone Awards again this year or perhaps again. Sorry to the folks in the community that will be disappointed. It's been a good ride. But it's time to hang up the hat for me. Spent every winter for the last 5 years putting a lot of blood and sweat into it. But I won't be able to commit to the awards in a way that will be both satisfying or healthy for me. Hope you all understand.

Maybe someone else can take a real stab at it and bring it in a different direction. Thanks to everyone who helped make the project amazing. I appreciate you all!

It's a little dry and maybe isin't the best thing I've edited together, but I hope you find something in it that you enjoyed or maybe if you ever produce an awards show you can learn something? lol idk. That's really sad to hear! The awards were probably the best videos on Warzone ever, given the amount of effort and editing that went into it. Sad to see it go. I can't edit and stuff, but I can try helping out if anyone wants to try getting on the level of the awards as they were.

Always was the best part of the Warzone year when these happened. Glad I could be apart of a couple of them. I think I still have all those art assets for them too, lol.

@ethan one of the good things is I finally can delete the GBs on GBs of random awards files off my computer. I know the last two with all the beach and space stock footage is a big chunk lol

If there is a good video editor out there and someone willing to be the face (actually do the video), I suspect we could get a number of helpers to make it happen.

But someone has to be the person doing the video and doing the talking, and someone needs to be the adept video editor (could potentially be the same person but not necessarily).

Who was the guy that did those awesome videos on the Castles of England game? Maybe he wants to help?

While I don't think I will be taking this task on myself, perhaps a live stream event with live voting of some sort would make this possible? I know the event was hosted live in the past, but maybe something a little simpler would allow us to still hold this yearly?
