Alright, how do I explain this...

The +/- numbers I have above is the net score - Basically, the points won minus the points lost. During the tournament, this is the best way to predict where a team will end up at the end - A team with +05 will probably do better than a team with -05 net score.

The raw scores for each team are...
GG: 58 pts. (Max: 61 pts.)
VIW: 56 pts. (Max: 66 pts.)
Warlighter: 52 pts. (Max: 58 pts.)
101st: 51 pts. (Max: 59 pts.)
Master: 33 pts. (Max: 34 pts.)
Dragon: 31 pts. (Max: 33 pts.)
MC: 30 pts. (Max: 34 pts.)
BR: 7 pts. (Max: 9 pts.)

The final ranking will be based on the raw score (Though the net score will show the same results). However; the net score is more accurate in predicting results than the raw score is during the tournament. This is because the raw score does not care about losses, and thus a clan who plays fast (with about a 50% winrate) would be predicted as higher than a clan who plays slow but has a 90% chance of winning.

In other words, no, a clan doesn't lose points when one of their players loses a game. The raw score cannot go down. The net score will go down, but that's just a predictor of the final score.

At the end (Not right now) the net score will be (Raw Score*2)-84 points.

so VIW only needs to get 6 out of 10 points in their remaining games to guarantee the win? and since GG and VIW games are all finished, GG must rely on other teams to beat VIW in order to win this?

i'd like to see what aranka has to say if thats the case :)

surprised warlighters is not last in the clan league... they must have gotton really lucky...

nine games left, 2 spots for four teams, warlighters need to have something amazing happen to get into group a, 101st needs to hope for gg and viw to lose

Agreed Seahawks. Our main aim is now top 3 as top 4 seems secure.

I think no one, at the beginning of those thread, got the right prediction of how clan league will end! :D

I think the only people who made predictions were biased in some way, so I'm not too surprised ;) There were definitely some surprises here though.

awesomeguy predicted almost perfectly other than botching masters placement

well the masters spot was one that resulted in heavy booting so I don't think anyone would have figured that out at all ... say is there any chance to get the number of boots that occured per team. That is definatly a stat I'm interested in since those are almost always a guarenteed loss.

also who is in charge of Clan league C since we arn't going anywhere as a clan ... what to scope out the compition for the next league .... also what is the link to the Clan League rules as far as moving up and down in the leagues

As far as i can remember it was not possible to set up a Clan league C. Even to setup a Clan league B was kind of difficult as far as i know. I only know about Clan league A and B. It seems to me like this Clan league B mainly serves the purpose to qualify for Clan league A.

mosquitero is right; there was an effort to establish leagues A & B, but JSA went AWOL after organising A, so the active clans in leagues B & C formed league B.

JSA tried to do all three leagues, but many leaders of B and C did not respond.

I think JSA was busy enough at the time that he wasn't able to put much effort into getting lineups for group B. (Or even making a forum thread about the clan league until group A started.) I remember VIW being interested very early on but we didn't even know how to submit our lineup.

I think going forward it would be a good idea to have multiple people help to organize the clan league, as it's really too much for just one person. The way we organized group B worked out well, where Apollo, I, and I think JUPITER were involved in getting lineups from clans, and all JSA had to do was make the tournaments. Even updates were handled organically, by Gnuffone in the group A thread and Kerosea/Tsumiki in this group B thread. The new clans and private messages systems should be a big help as well in terms of contacting clans and clan leaders.

I think better organization, better advertising on the forums, and better communication with clans should make the next season a big success. It wouldn't surprise me if we end up having 3 or 4 groups participate.

Master Race is inactive for 40+ days, the question is what should we do with his game vs. Polakillo?

Personally I think Master should be allowed to put another player in considering Polakillo's already in on merit alone.

Anyway, here's were we stand!

GG and 101st have 1 game left on the 2v2 Medium Earth Map! If GG wins, then they secure the win and VIW also promotes. If 101st wins, then they tie with GG, possibly forcing a playoff to decide which of the two clans (101st or GG) promotes to Group A.

VIW currently has 4 points left to take, both in 2v2's! They have to face MC in East Asia & Oceania, and Warlighters in Medium Earth. If they win both games, then they secure the win overall. If they win only one of the two games, then 101st must win the GG vs. 101st battle for VIW to win. If VIW wins none of the two games, then GG must win the GG vs. 101st battle for VIW to promote.

Warlighters, unfortunately, have been knocked out of the running for first place - However; if they win the rest of their games, and 101st loses their battle against GG, then 101st and Warlighters will be tied for 3rd place.

There is a battle for 5th place right now! Master is 3 points ahead of MC, but MC has 4 more points to go. However; Master also has one more point to take out. Meanwhile, Dragon is 1 point ahead of MC - but with Dragon out of points to gain, they can't do anything if MC wins any of their games. If MC wins both of their games, and Master loses their last game, then MC will be 5th. If MC wins one of their games, then Master will be 5th and MC 6th. If MC loses both games, then Master will be 5th and Dragon 6th, with MC 7th. If Group C is formed next season, then avoiding the 7th place finish is of importance, as the last two groups can be relegated!

This time, it's the Europe tournament that has been finished! Featuring a 3-way tie for second, a 7-0 flawless victory, and a 0-7 flawless defeat! Also, this tournament is the main reason for Master's fall from grace, as they had to fight with one man down for the most part.


To be honest, the results should have looked a lot different...

I agree we need a number of people to help organize the League almost one person per tournament seems necessary that way they can monitor the tournament and deal with any problems that occur in that tournament as needed

Ok as far as the regulating do the low teams from League A drop to League B to replace the teams that move up?

As far as Clan C it should be slightly easier to organize the Clan League with the new clans page that we have now since we already have the League A & B organized the simplest method would be to contact leaders of the additional clans. I may be willing to help with league organization when the time comes around again.
