I understand Fizzer that he needs more money to run warlight
My opinion of the updates:

In the past, only 6 players could play a warlight game on a map wich had not any requirements like today (right territory size etc.), the settings were far more limited and had more standard luck which I do like. This was statefactory gameplay with only 1v1, 3FFA, 4FFA, 2v2, 5FFA, 6FFA, 2v2v2 and 3v3 games. A member had far more advantages (not in the gameplay, it's a fair gameplay) and could play up to 24 players and had more settings possible.

After that the players could play up to 40 players for high level player, which was great. Maps were limited because you need a certain level to play a map. (not fun) Warlight maps were getting better (more requirements, better for warlight, anoying when you're a mapmaker). And warlight had now advertisements which is the most anoying change !!!which made me almost stop playing the warlight game...!!!
The advantage of members in the settings and players were now limited, no advertisments was the best advantage.

In this new version "coin games" which is the most discussed subject on warlight now. I do not like the coin games but I understand why coin games are introduced. I'm glad you still can turn off the coin game option and play normal games. I'm really afraid warlight turns in a pay for a game/member site. because I do not have a creditcard to pay for a membership and many players are not even adult. So I hope warlight could turn back to a version without advertisements at least! I'm losing my interest to play new games if it is going this direction with warlight...
I still have hope for better improvements.
