Could there be a setting to get the chat box to how it used to be or make the order more intuitive? I know it makes sense but I really would like to read it as it was before, because I am used to it.
In addition to that, looks like the player ID thing screwed a lotta things over. Apparently, if you click players in the 'highest level' leaderboard they will give yout he name with _0 which will give you a page with nothing instead of _1 which willg ive you their page.
Playing in Attack-Only-Mode is completely broken. I am used to play in attack-only mode. Jumping immediately to attack, and deploy there with pressed Ctrl-key. This was very helpful, especially in games with 1 or 2 minutes turn time. Now whenever I change the deploy values, the game jumps back into the deploy state, and my next click, which should start an attack gives me another deploy of 1. This is really annoying, as I am used to the strategy of deploying/attacking in one action.
The new UI (on web at least) is inconsistent about whether chats are sorted newest first or oldest first. Pick a convention and be consistent. Also if you load additional messages chats are sorted newest first but then new chats that come in later are added at the end, leaving the chats in a confusing mixture of newest first and oldest first.
1) Ok, chat order in Load Older Messages has been reverted to be more natural (same as forums), but can we at least make it so opens the LAST page and scrolls down to the bottom of that page? Every time I open it up, it's another click to click the last page of chat, then scroll down to the bottom of the chat to see what's new.
If that's how it's going to be, it was better before - while surprising/unintuitive, at least the newest chats were up at the top to be read, no clicking/scrolling required.
2) +1 for what Blue said. I play this way too, CTRL-click to deploy units from Attack mode, and the new UI seems to constantly be sending me back to Deploy mode when I remove a deployment from a territory, then when I click to attack, it redeploys the unit I just removed from that territory. Very annoying. Would really at least like a checkbox in settings to disable this functionality, as it's adding several clicks to my playstyle and several 'aghgghhh' moments to each turn I play.

Thanks for this much needed update!
However, it still appears that the server cannot handle names with excessive use of emoji so you might want to have the server to cut off long names. It's giving a 500 server error: IllegalArgumentException: URLDecoder: Incomplete trailing escape (%) pattern when the link is shared in any warzone chat.
I'm fully aware that this account has a name intended to break the system, but since some languages are all unicode (e.g. Arabic), you might want to fix this anyways. (Name length so long it cannot be shared in a WZ chat message causing the server to crash when the invalid link is opened.)
