Yes true Ironheart, i should stop giving you a hard time for mistakes that you made over a year ago now, to be fair i havent played with you for ages so i should give you credit.
i do very much agree with what you said about trust lasting more than one game. if you lost trust in one game you have to work bloody hard to regain it in the next game. So in that second game you have to decide, is it worth trying to build back the relationship? well that goes on a person by person basis
what you have to realise also is that only a very small proportion of my games end in a backstab. its not something i go out of my way to do. most games have a turn warning agreed. its just that in some cases in some games against certain people to me it makes perfect sense :)

¨General Mac BACKSTABBED ME IN A season X 4 player FFA. He accepted the players surrender and it was just me and him and the turn he accept the players surrender he ATTACKS me with no notice (we were allies) just so he could win the game.¨
This made me lol. He attacked you JUST so he could win the game? I think that´s a damn good reason to backstab you! In any case, if it´s just you and him, what did you expect would happen? A 5 turn long disco to celebrate?
In a more general view, backstabbing is fine and nothing to moan about. Chalk the player up to a traitor and don´t ally with them again unless you really have to. It makes me giggle when people take things so personally.
Besides, attacking your ally´s territory is only one way to betray your ally. I am sure even the most ´honourable´ of Warlight player´s have betrayed his oh-so-beloved ally in other ways. Stacking up hidden armies, arranging to have an advantage for when the alliance breaks down, engaging in diplomacy with his enemies and competing with them for bonuses are all acts of dishonour and betrayal.
You should never, ever betray your ally. Knit them a hat and surrender like a true Warlighter of Honour.
