When you are in different timezones and facing a difficult board on a 3v3 template you pretty much never play outside of CL, 18 days can easily be quite short for finalizing all three pick sets. The necessity gets clear when you check any team games in division A: The banked times will be used up for the biggest part at the end of the game. And people playing slow in purpose is rare.
