I wasn't sure about it, but as far as I know there isn't. Can someone correct me if I'm wrong?

And if I am, Fizzer, is there any plans for it in the future?

No, and why should there be? Coins need to be removed from the game because no one likes them.

lol @red

i'd actually be curious which one people would want removed more from WL, coins or Dairly.

@ Dairly, because you are so into this community being democratic, if more people think you should be removed, will you leave then?

Man, you are a bloody broken record. You do realize that speaking through an obvious alt means your comments carry far less weight since you aren't even willing to stand behind your own words

I've told you so many fucking times, but you never seem to get it. We disagree with the CONCEPT of coin games - gambling on an ALL-AGES GAME SITE! It's not the kind of atmosphere I want to be playing in! And I'm not going to leave because I don't like some highly annoying feature, I have OPINIONS that I want to USE to HELP. If you just disagree, I would be happy to discuss on why coin games are good/bad but you have chosen to resort to personal attacks and insults, leaving all of us to question why the fuck you endorse coin games so much in the first place.

YOUR entire argument, slammy, is a conglomeration of logical fallacies.

-You're an alt, so you have no say in this. Therefore coin games are inherently good.

-Coin games can be hidden, therefore there is absolutely nothing wrong with them.

-If you don't like the game's current features then gtfo because player's shouldn't be able to have opinions/suggest what they want changed.

Metal, but then the person you're 'gifting' to would have to have coins, and that's not going to be possible in the current situation.

Dairly, it's not gambling. Not even close. You don't have to participate in the coin games side of WarLight if you don't want to. Slammy is absolutely right.

Dairiy, quit spamming. We get it, YOU don't like coins. Your statement, however, is patently false. I like coins, and so do many others.

You're not going to strengthen your position by hijacking every thread you can with your whining.

@Lion - as far as I know there isn't, it would be nice though.

1. gambling
[gam-bling]

Synonyms
Examples
Word Origin

noun
1.
the activity or practice of playing at a game of chance for money or other stakes.

Are the coin games a game of chance? Remember back to Fizzer's blog, the reason why he was able to do the coin game update was because he was able to legally term the no-luck games as a game of skill, much like chess. That's why it's available to be played in so many states that would otherwise ban gambling.

2. All-Ages Game site

You are required to provide your age upon login with this new update. So this part of the site is specifically for people who are 18+. If they lie about their age there is nothing we can do. If you are 18-, then you say so and are never bothered by the part of the site that would otherwise be inappropriate for you to view.

3. Atmosphere

What has drastically changed about the atmosphere? We've been musing at the chance to throw money in with these games and tournaments for years. There are plenty of live recordings of WGL in which Dunga, Szew, and I discuss how we'd love to implement money into the tournament, but how it would require initiative from Fizzer to be done. Most of the players who are hooked on this game are 18+, have a job, and thus are legally allowed to do things like this. Nothing has changed but that we now can do that.

4. Alt being relevant

It is relevant that you are an alt. Why should we engage in a serious discussion with someone who refuses to show their true anonymous gamer tag to us? It's like sitting down with someone who has a mask over his mask. At least I could somewhat identify you with the previous mask, but you're clearly hiding so we'll poke fun at why we think you're hiding. Probably because you're aware your argument holds little ground so it's much safer to be talking your talk on an anonymous account.

5. Coin games being able to be hidden

It does matter. If you FEEL that there is something wrong about coin games (because it's all feeling, logically you don't have an argument as seen above), then you could 1. Leave (as it's not going to be removed) or 2. Click hide coin games and never see them again.

I think you're unfamiliar how most games actually work. (go to Kongregate and click MMO. play a couple) Most games will not allow you to hide the whole monetization part of the game. Not only that but they will force you to buy their product in order to progress through the game at the pace you started at, and downright not allow you to progress through most of the game unless you buy their product.

Warlight does not force you to buy their product. Warlight allows you to hide their product. Name me a successful game business that 1. Allows you to play their game at the pace you started at without paying anything and 2. Allows you to hide their product.

I can only think of 1-2 companies, and I've worked for a couple as a Community Manager before. I'm pretty familiar with the industry. Though the companies I'm thinking about may not qualify as successful businesses.

In summary:

1. Coin games =/= gambling

2. If you're 18-, you should probably have said so if you don't feel comfortable with coin games.

3. The atmosphere hasn't really changed at all. Prove to me otherwise.

4. Just sign into your damn real account you wuss.

5. Warlight is taking an approach that almost no successful game businesses have before.

@Dairiy What you're saying is fucking bullshit; in fact, all of the coin wagers should be multiplied by 10000, with 100% luck modifier, random cards, random starting spots, random rounding mode, and with modified bonuses.

You have no say in this because you are level 5, just as a 5-year-old has no say in the president of the US.

No, the alt is irrelevant. All you're doing is attacking my credibility without refuting my argument. You're just looking for shortcuts to 'win' without addressing what actually matters - because you KNOW I have the stronger argument. We're talking about why coin games are or aren't a good thing here, this isn't even about me. I don't fucking personify my argument.

Coin games rely on a wager which some, like myself would see as gambling. Especially because it can be exploited to overcome lack of skill; two players could agree prior to the actual game to eliminate the other opponent and help each other, which isn't just 'unfair', you're fucking with people's money. Coin games are exploitable like that.

You haven't altered your rhetoric about the 'HIDE' feature at all, despite the fact that I have explained why it is irrelevant. Stop repeating that same clusterfuck of logic. My argument is based on my sense of morality, i.e. even having coin games will encourage people to gamble in real life and will bring a new acceptance for shady internet games that fuck with your money, which I believe should be ILLEGAL due to my FAITH. The atmosphere has not changed noticeably, I'll give you that one.

Oh yeah, and the 'at least it isn't like this other game' fallacy doesn't fucking work either. I'm supposed to be thankful that the monetization of Warlight could be to a greater extent? How do you figure that, if I don't agree with the money-making aspect of Warlight in the first place?

You have no say in this because you are level 5, just as a 5-year-old has no say in the president of the US.

Failed analogy. Levels don't make your opinions matter more; some may see it that way, but there is no feature that gives them more weight to suggest, nor is there even a poll system. So many things wrong with this.

Are you a Christian or just a troll? Why are you using such foul language on a site that's for all ages? I'm pretty sure it goes against your faith to talk like that. Why should anyone else be bound by your morals anyway?

attacking my credibility without refuting my argument.

Except you don't have an argument. You have an opinion that gambling (which this clearly is not) does not belong on the site. It is an opinion, nothing more and thus can't be refuted. It can only be disagreed with and clearly it has been!

I do like how you constantly say 'we' and 'us' as if you represent multiple people. I also enjoy you stating that NO ONE likes them when that clearly is not the case either. You are under the misguided impression that the world MUST agree with you on all facets which is clearly not the case.

Nice job trying to force YOUR morality and thus YOUR religion upon others. And you wonder why it gets a bad name JSA

That doesn't address my main argument (READ ABOVE I'M NOT GOING TO REPEAT IT EVERY TIME.) You're attacking an irrelevant part of it and pulling out some exotic fallacies about morality to confuse the issue. Bug off.
