Keep at it Dairiy. Your not going to make any progress but keep up the good fight. Do you have any pamphlets I can laugh at then throw away?

@Dairriyrhea
Did you look at the levels of the players you are messing with? Maybe you should just shut the fuck up, because the opinion of a level 5 player who has been here for less than a month is worthless shit, as worthless as what a 5-year-old thinks the laws should be.

All you're doing is attacking my credibility without refuting my argument. You're just looking for shortcuts to 'win' without addressing what actually matters

while i dont agree with him about coins, this is a good point.

Lol, I clearly attacked his points. I just pointed out I don't like having discussions with people who are trying to hide their identity from me.

No, the alt is irrelevant. All you're doing is attacking my credibility without refuting my argument. You're just looking for shortcuts to 'win' without addressing what actually matters - because you KNOW I have the stronger argument. We're talking about why coin games are or aren't a good thing here, this isn't even about me. I don't fucking personify my argument.

Coin games rely on a wager which some, like myself would see as gambling. Especially because it can be exploited to overcome lack of skill; two players could agree prior to the actual game to eliminate the other opponent and help each other, which isn't just 'unfair', you're fucking with people's money. Coin games are exploitable like that.

You haven't altered your rhetoric about the 'HIDE' feature at all, despite the fact that I have explained why it is irrelevant. Stop repeating that same clusterfuck of logic. My argument is based on my sense of morality, i.e. even having coin games will encourage people to gamble in real life and will bring a new acceptance for shady internet games that fuck with your money, which I believe should be ILLEGAL due to my FAITH. The atmosphere has not changed noticeably, I'll give you that one.

Oh yeah, and the 'at least it isn't like this other game' fallacy doesn't fucking work either. I'm supposed to be thankful that the monetization of Warlight could be to a greater extent? How do you figure that, if I don't agree with the money-making aspect of Warlight in the first place?

I refuted your argument plenty of times, even numbered out the points for you. If it clearly bothers you so much that I'm attacking you on the basis that you're using an alternate account to hide your identity, then why not use your main account? I'm poking at you until you do because it's rather annoying. 'I'm going to throw this huge tirade about coins on the Warlight forums only I'll conceal my identity while I do it.' Why? Why are you concealing your identity?

Thanks for dropping the f-bomb on me 5 times. I didn't cuss at you, so it's rather rude for you to cuss at me. Though I can tell you're mad that your argument is falling apart so I'll let it slide.

This doesn't change the definition of what gambling is. Gambling is based off of games of chance. Warlight is not a game of chance. Therefore betting money in Warlight is not gambling in any biblical or legal definition of the word. I dislike the FFAs as much as you do as they can be exploited as I've pointed out several times. I would love to see them removed. Open coin games should be strictly 1v1, other gamemodes just don't make sense due to how easily tampered teamgames and FFAs are. However, we're moving away from the core of the issue and discussing extremities.

Okay, so what if I disagree with your morality and religious beliefs? Am I supposed to be forced to follow your morals and religious beliefs? This game has broken no laws and it seems like you're one of the few who believes this is morally wrong. I don't follow. I don't think it's morally wrong or influences gambling habits irl. I would suggest that gambling habits normally arise due to stress. A relationship not working out and that want to just give up your money as a way of soothing yourself. It's the same logic that alcoholism follows. You drink to become lethargic, and losing your money gives the same effect. Gambling is done because you know you will lose your money, not because you think you'll win something. Betting money on games such as Poker, Warlight, Chess, even in some aspect Fantasy Sports is done because you think you'll win. Psychologically, they're different. Why else do you think we partake in e-sports tournaments quite often? It's a mental high to best another player/team. Do you think people who partake in these events are looking to lose, thus feel lethargic? It's quite a slow way to do it..

Well where is it your place to decide how a business makes its money? If Warlight is doing this legally as it has been pointed out several times, then there is nothing wrong right? You clearly hate gambling, but alcoholism is much worse. Would you throw the same type of tirade if a cafe you liked decided to also sell alcoholic beverages? The whole reason of including the argument of 'other places are far worse' is I'm pointing out how ignorant you are about the world around you. Here you spend hours posting and getting angry at a game doing things legally that the community wants, and yet you ignore the shady monetization that communities don't want in most of the MMOs that are shown on the front page of Kongregate? Some crusader of justice you are.

@Richard: I don't think this is JSA, I recall him saying he liked the update in the Warlight skype chat.

Hahahahhahaha, I love when people try to pull the 'that's a fallacy!' card in situations where the comments they are complaining about aren't being used to attempt to prove a logical conclusion.
