I found a intresting map on (dutch) Wikipedia

2 years before France attacked the Netherlands, The Netherlands was split in 2 : Dutch republic and the Austrian Netherlands. On January 1790 The people of the Southern Netherlands had enough of Austria and protested on the streets. This protest turned into a revolution against Austria. The leaders of Brabant started a kind of an union against the Austrian netherlands : The United States of Belgium (USB). The word 'Belgium' or 'Belgica' is the Latin translation of the Netherlands. There was also an another state that was against the Austrian Netherlands : Prince-Bishopric of Liège.
These 'Belgians' fought against the Holy Roman Empire and Austria but they lost...

the names of territories should be the names of the biggest city in that piece of land.

Since this was left in the public domain because it's of course a historic and educational map. I'll see what I can do with this map.

Also, could someone name the lands for me. This map is not visible for me to see for a reason that it's a .jpg file.

I didn't have so much info about these cities but I have founded a map on wiki but it's a map about Flanders in the middle-ages. Grevelingen, Duinkerken, Rijsel, Bouvine , Pevelenberg,Sint Amands, Orchies, Dowaai, Sint Winoksbergen are now French cities.

and also the the islands in the north seems now different than other.
