imgur requires you load two different low res preview images before you can see the full size image, and toggle desktop mode

I can do any levels remaining but they'd all be at the resolution of the screenshots I uploaded yesterday, as I'm not willing to spend hours doing a single level taking 20+ screenshots and stitching them together. otto said he's spent several hours just doing 1 level, trying to make a stitched together super high resolution pic, lol ...

aha...for the bigger levels that will be probably less interesting, as the quality of the map will go down...I have started taking more spots at 7Yrs war, but I will do another try at 30 Yrs war when I get there

your 1 screen snaps are of amazing quality, so I guess it is really worth to have them. Many man thanks again for your efforts! Your biggest map so far had 389 territories, so anything which is near that is definitely clear and sharp!


If you would consider to contribute more maps, I collected the few that are still open:

* Rise of Rome (there is one by Doctor K, but of very low res) - 273 territories
* Aklog World - 612 territories could be the limit
* King's Archipelago - 761 territories, hmm

Probably too big to see anything with 1 shot only
* 7y war - 1769 territories
* 30y war - 2264 territories

I am out of the unfogging project for a while now as a) most of the maps are done and only maps which I consider irrelevant are left and b) I will have significantly less time in the near future and will definitely not spend hours and hours for stitching.

My opinion - they're both perfectly usable, but the super stitch is far 'nicer' to work with. And given that the super was at 60% scale (imgur size limit? how big? is gyazo better?), so 40% of the size/effort that was wasted, so maybe only put 1-2 hrs effort into making them instead of 'several'?

And the downsizing is due to the 20M file size limit from imgur. The original is 29M, the smaller one is 14M....

I screenshotted it @ 3840x1600 pixels, and due to the format zoom to ensure whole map showed up, it ended up as 2969x1443, vs the super stitch which is 7262x4816, so it's >30M pixels smaller ... lol, so yea when put into #'s, it is surprising how good it looks despite being technically clearly inferior
