You only get the new templates after winning a certain amount of games, and it pops up when you unlock them. So as soon as that happens, go back to QM, refresh the page, go into templates & disable it.

NOTE that if just go back to the QM menu from the won game and hit templates, it won't show the newly unlocked ones. You need to refresh the page. Silly, I know.

I'm with you tho ... this should be disabled by default

The backstory here is that noob players would be stuck on SEAD forever if they didn't auto-enable. I'm personally not convinced of this, but more importantly - don't punish the rest of us indefinitely to accomplish this very minor goal. If someone has so little interest in the game to figure out how to enable new QM templates, that's on them, don't hold the rest of hostage; and if you must (it seems he must, ie: wants to and won't give up) at least give us an option to NOT auto-enable them so after we've been bit by it, we can fix it going forward and only opt into what we want to play

Except for MD QM where they surrender when youre not online, gl disabling that new crappy templates you just unlock then...
