Omg I just wanna say I freaking love autopilot lmao

So recently I joined all the ladders, made tournaments and also joined some. Ever since then I've had to face a lot of players who won't surrender a lost game and sometimes this happens to me a lot. But now I can just tap one lil button and can expand almost as good as I would normally without all of the time and effort!

I also love using it in RT games when I just have too much of a map and it takes too long to expand.. which is an even bigger issue for me cuz my laptop is kinda laggy. :/ But now I can just run autopilot and clean up a few orders which saves me a lotttt of time so I don't risk the boot. >.>

Am I the only person who feels this way? I'll probably continue to be a member for a while :)

Autopilot is great, it actually makes better moves than I do

I love autopilot because you can finish off games that are in a easily winning position without effort
But a human can definltey play better than the autopilot

Wunderwaffe plays better than many humans, I can win a lot of auto 1v1 games against random opponents this way

I'm still waiting for someone to challenge the Wunderwaffe in a bot to bot battle. The bot has very severe limitations and is definitely beatable. I have also written a multiattack bot which is way stronger in the thing which it does which is well... playing multiattack.

So what's the point of multiplayer if you're just going to use bots? This thread sapped all the fun out of the multiplayer game for me.

With some practice, you can become significantly better than bots.

Yeah, they aren't that good.

Yeah, even the best ones like Wunderwaffe are worse than a good player, and Wunderwaffe only works on certain settings anyway. Autopilot is still best used only to auto-finish games where you know you've won but the opponent won't surrender and it saves you time. The fact I personally use it to beat bad players on some settings just means I play more casually and don't typically like to think too much about my moves, and I'm getting beaten quite a lot because of that.

Reminds me of a player from south Korea I believe who played more than 10 hours a RT game cause the opponent wouldn't surrender.

Autopilot would have been very useful in that game

it would be useful, but also, the guy would have to sit there for the duration of those 8 hours and not get booted, still a L to me to even be involved in something like this lol

Really, you have to be there while using autopilot? I thought you can go away for longer periods while staying in the game and the autopilot doing moves for you
