A good start to season 10 with a full group of 7 in all A through G groups accepting their tourneys!
After 10 seasons of running things, I am passing on the responsibility to FRANKDESLIMSTE to administer the league, who I know will do an even better job. Thanks to him for volunteering. Thanks to you all for your patience throughout - it's sometimes a tricky thing to do it well, but always fun.

It would be more interesting if there could be a "maximum round limit" of 90, so that games would more frequently end into draws. This way, table ties would be extremely rare, given the small number of players in each group. And not would they just be less frequent, but also much easier to handle. As a first criterion, I would suggest the "least losses" criterion. Players that can avoid the loss are usually more likely to do well at high levels, so why not give them the chance more easily?
Ah, I suggest the round limit to be 90 so that it simulates the 90 minutes of a football game;) I also think it is a practical value for such a limit. Not too short, not too long, given the map used.

games never last ninety turns anyways, and the promotion relegation league doesnt need changing, its perfect as it is. Also rewarding people for extending a loss is a terrible idea for this competition, but in more friendly, not competitive stuff it is ok

I know this is not the Champions' League thread (I 've seen that too), but my idea has to do with the whole game. Extending a loss may sound boring to those who want to play all-out attack and 4-4-2 in line, but not all players are like this, so this option will basically favour the best schematic tacticians... So the game will be just as competitive (if not even more) if this option becomes available. (I never said it had to be obligatory anyway...)
And, to your information, I 've had many offline games far above 90 turns. Have you played the big map of Africa, or the big world map? Even the newly posted "Croatia big" can easily drag a game up to like 200-250 turns, if at least one of the players doesn't play 4-4-2...
