Hi everyone. Frankdeslimste PM'd me with a query about tie-breakers. My computer did not seem to want to reply to the PM system, so I'm going to address this here.

Frank and I both assumed the other would be handling tie-breakers and set up of new season.

Since he asked, I am making a proposal for next season that involves a few considerations:

1 - Technically there are 4 three-way ties that need resolution - 2 in A and one each in C and F.

2 - Because these were not arranged earlier, I don't think it's smart to have the further delay this would cause unless necessary.

3 - Certain dropouts (Ruthless from A, Gnuffone from B, Summer from C, Aranka from F (based on boots), Photon and General Arun from G, and SNinja from H1) affect ordinary movements as they do every season. Ruthless's dropout resolves the bottom A tie-breaker.

4 - In my opinion, there is a way of setting out fair promotions without requiring tie-breakers this time. Each of the 3-way deadlocks would stay together. This would avoid the unreasonable further delay.

5 - I say all of this to help. Frankdeslimste has the final word. Here is how it would work out for season 11 (with small case representing season 10 results, excluding dropouts named above):

Group A - aaaabbb
Group B - aabcccc
Group C - bbccdde
Group D - ddddeef
Group E - deeefgg
Group F - efffggg
Group G - f,h1,h1,h1,h2,h2,h2
Group H - other H's and newcomers

yay, i was thinking that i need to stay in H for another season. At least I can play with a few ladder rating 19xx+ players in group G now :)
