Alright, we have 8 players right now! and 2 already for the next session, I hope this experiment will show why more mods should be supported in tournaments and that they can create strategically interesting games, not just chaos. :)
Just did the matchups by ordering from small to large in an excel sheet random generated numbers attached to each player's name.
L.L. vs Pi HuBa vs Just_A_Dutchman_ otto vs Hangfire JK_3 vs krinid
Did you intentionally group all the non-members together so that you only had to pay for non-member modded seats in 1 game or was that just a lucky coincidence?
"Just did the matchups by ordering from small to large in an excel sheet random generated numbers attached to each player's name."
I did not, nor did I make the two Prime players play each other on purpose, nor did I make the two mods play a modded template against each other on purpose.
Plus the creation cost is 2 coins per nonmember so it would have costed me 4 coins either way, no? Actually this way insures there is a non-member in the second round, so it's the most expensive combination.
JK with the misdirection: dont forget that 1+2 kills 2 and is more efficient for the army cap!
krinid who did not realise how devious I could be until now! ugh, didn't realize Dense Fog ... what a combo Dense Fog + Better Don't Fail is disaster conditions
LOL, in my defense, I'm still dealing with COVID and it was also early morning; I was in a weird confused haze where what I was reading and what I inputed didn't make any sense (I know exactly what Better Don't Fail does and how it works) but I figured JK wouldn't lie, he is the reigning Community Member of the Year, so just trusted JK and acted in accordance with his would be supreme guidance; actually even considered typing "thanks for the advice"
Can we retroactively retract this CMotY award? lol
