Well, I get to post right after Fizzer. It seems nobody has much to say about this week's map selections.
Me either. It's not very good.

Yeah, it's kind of an issue that you can't nominate a map EVER once it has been nominated, even if it didn't win... most maps aren't particularly worthy of receiving an award. Maybe the nomination should have a cooldown, so that actually good maps keep winning it by virtue of there being at least one in the selection? I saw that people generally tend not to even comment on the map of the week threads, and it's likely because the maps aren't good anymore, broadly speaking, maybe one good map here and there sometimes if there is a new one.

I think 3 times a year we have this conversation, and everyone seems to agree that maps should be re-eligible after they've lost. When they become re-eligible is negotiable. 1 year? 6 months?

Ofc the maps that lost should be re-eligible after some time, I totally agree with this point. 6 months is a good time, I think. Or maybe even less, idk.

Yep, any of those sounds good to me. If they won MotW at some point, they shouldn't be re-eligible, but otherwise they definitely should
