Clan Wars season 33 has ended - Prime takes back 2nd place, Rise of altsCW seasons 33 ended. No surprise, Myth Busters won it again with by a wide margin.
There was some intense competition for top-2. For the first half of the season, Optimum and knyte club were competing for 2nd place, while Prime had a slow start and was lagging behind. In the second half, Prime caught up and ended the season as top-2.
The remaining top 3-5 were same again. Even after a big recruitment push and objectively better statistics, M'Hunters were not able or did not want to compete with Harmony for the top-5 spot.
The top-9 had some unfortunate results. FTW! clan, which run by NONO and notoriously known for using alts to play Clan Wars, rivaled The Fancy Dot ● on the number of wins and took top-9 by the mod128 tie-breaker. Thus, The Fancy Dot ● is off the coin zone.
NONO was publicly caught up for using alts to rig coin-raffles before and now this. I have heard, that NONO was reported for using FTW! alts in CW, but looks like no action was taken. While I think, that it is not a big issue, when alts are used below the coin zone, but when you get you way to the top-9 with alts, that's a big hit to Clan Wars competition spirit and game integrity.

Big summer clan reshuffleAfter the CW season 33, knyte club completely transferred to {101st}. At the same time, a few of Python's and Harmony's players and managers joined {101st} too.
What do we know:
- Before The Blue Devils took over knyte club, it was rumored that they were offered one of alexclusive's clan. They decided to choose knyte club from l4v.rov, as l4v.rov (unlike alexclusive) did not impose any rules or obligations on them. Something probably has changed since then.
- Recently {101st} had an underwhelming performance in the Clan League (they relegated from Div A to Div B), and knyte club since the reincarnation have not succeeded to take top-2 in the CW.
- It is said, that Python would be offering some training to the new {101st} team, as well as play Clan Wars with them, etc
- Currently, as we approach the end of first day of the new Clan Wars season, we see that {101st} winrate is ~40% and CWR dropping in the 500-400 range.
To be honest, I am still not sure is it just knyte club team's plan to continue growth by leveraging Python/{101st}'s resources (trainers, player base, spot in Div B of Clan league), or a plain merger of knyte clyb within the Python/{101st} structure. According to the {101st}'s page bio, it seems that {101st} inherits its identinity from the previous {101st}'s history + the new clan uses the Python/{101st} discord as a means of main communication. So I would actually call that a merger under Python.
It is spotted, that at least one manager (actually the leader of their CW squad) from Harmony has joined {101st}. Harmony has a vast track record of their top players actually leaving Harmony to play for Myth Busters to compete for top-1 spot, but if now they leave to just compete for top-2, that is a bit questionable. Another opinion, is that the manager from Harmony wanted a break from leading the Harmony's CW effort, but then what happens to the Harmony's effort itself.
The knyte club clan was later taken by Romy. Probably we will see Mothership II moving to it in the near time.

Announcement of Nation’s Cup 2023Nation's Cup is a team tournament, where players from same countries build up teams and compete.
Last Nation's cup was held in 2021. With almost ~300 participants this is even bigger than Clan Wars or Clan League.
Not a big expert myself, I see lots of people are enthusiastic and already expressed interest.

Other events in-brief- Orcus vs Texx showdown is tied at 3:3. With all the real-time games finished, we are now entering the multiday games.
- The Multi-Template Ladder has been down for over 3 weeks. Very little communication is available and that's not a good sign.
That’s all for now. Thanks for reading. Please comment, like and subscribe!
