Do you ever see a tourney named "Strategic 1 v 1", free to join, with a decent 26 coins reward, apparently no funny settings, and think "well, why not, this should be fun, a known template which I played a lot of already, let's give it a try."
But then, something catches your attention.
Banked time of 6 minutes? How come? You were convinced it's a multi-day tournament. Isn't it? You check.
Yes, it is, it says so on the tournament icon. 3 days. Huh? Maybe it was a mistake.
You decide to check the settings to make sure. You already joined it, after all, so better safe than sorry. Surely there's noth... wait, what??
A feeling of dread overcomes you. This... this cannoOOOOOOOOOOOO....
...oooooo...
t be true... But then it hits you. You have missed an elementary fact in committing the decision of joining this tourney.
The date. It's the date. Truly, you have been done, and you can only blame yourself. You were lured in by the coins, the shiny, shiny coins, and the promise of the oh-so-familiar comfort zone template you have been accustomed to. And now, you cannot even surrender easily, because it needs to be accepted by the other player, not to mention it is double elimination, so you have to play another game too, and you don't want it to ruin your carefully nurtured low boot rate. So you keep playing, cursing your own short-sightedness and naivety, discarding hundreds of cards every turn, and vowing to never join a tourney without
carefully checking the settings from now on.
Happy April Fools, everyone! :)
