agreed. the one thing i am going to add on to bottleneck's latest post is that picking the large bonuses should generally come in during your beginning picks, NOT among your backup picks, as you are far less likely to get all your picks in one bonus.... the +2 bonuses are generally the sort which you can capture in one turn without additional deployment, or minimized amounts, depending, which makes up for their relative lack of efficiency in terms of territories/bonus

It is actually never a good idea to spread out. In team games, it is best to get into as many battles with your teammates as possible. (This is exactly how I got my high win percentages in team games.)

i hope that was a sarcastic comment lol
preventing a bonus is generally almost as effective as obtaining one yourself, and often much easier.

i agree with ryiro
you can get rid of most of them if you set the pre-requisites for open seats to have minimum win rates, though this does mean sometimes you will have really good players who play with anyone who are locked out (I mean a lot better than me. lol), and you will get people who inflate their win rates artificially or by setting up unbalanced games which nobody else reads the settings for

When your team has a noob, you can always hope that the other team has an even bigger noob.

I agree I have had noobs who have done things like putting all picks in the west end of Africa among other dumb things. I end up making walls of text to try to fix their picks.
