there still is one through the clot and discord, it's just that nobody uses it...

RTL was removed in the first place because not enough players were on it and it was too easy for anyone good to get the 1st place trophy

Well, might as well just get rid of the ladders and use QM.

Pros of using QM instead of ladders:
• Similar boot time on MD games compared to official ladders
• Multi template, just like the MTL and old RTL
• Also features realtime functionality for those that prefer it
• GUI is in a more complete state
• Already has a large player base, no need to advertise to app players
• Auto activated for all accounts, so hard to miss

Cons of using QM instead of ladders:
• Rating system
• Players can vote on templates, so it has shit templates
• Auto activated for all accounts, so hard to miss

I asked Fizzer for an update about the poll and didn't really get a response.

Lets hope it is still going to happen so that WZ users get a say in measures that have a big impact on whether we want to play the ladders.

1v1 and 2v2 were changed from 1d 1hr to 1d 12hr (+ banked), which is a W. It's a compromise at least, and more manageable.

Would be nice when creating a ladder team if we could search our friend list - or maybe at least alphabetize it - so it's easier to find someone.

Yeh but that still doesn't address the major issues this will cause with team ladders which are now worthless unless you want to play as a single player on two accounts (I.e. not as a team).

For 1v1 I still think many people would find the current boot times unmanageable and it would be nice to gather the user feedback to show this. Hopefully it would result in a U-turn on these terrible new boot times.

For those guys who want more boot time, I'd kindly invite you to spend less than 5 minutes, create an account, and vote in Warzone user-voice (I used less than 3 minutes even with verification stuff). This was actually quite a while ago, but not until today I find the time to post it.

Usually, Fizzer cares more about ideas on whatever "user-voice" that gets the most number of up-votes. (geez, who still uses that nowadays?), lets see can we finally get a poll we want if the number of vote there increases. And hopefully he does not "misinterpret" the data there as invalid, because there are too many new accounts voting, lol. Much appreciated. Thanks guys.

Doesn’t the fact that there are awards for being ranked or rated a certain position every Sunday encourages prolonging taking turns, when you know you’re loosing are you’re in the lower quarter of the league? That would be a reason to not have rewards in the first place, otherwise the rating system change prevents the stalling issue. The way I see it is boot times are only that low to force faster play, you can’t take your time and have to be active almost daily.

Could happen, if someone is trying to cling to a higher reward band; this wasn't really meant to 100% eliminate stallers, just reduce their ability to do so
