25 years later...
You are a rich buisness man on Earth, with your wife Erin (the hot woman). You have three kids, that are all doing well, and a Beemer. After you joined the pirates, they immediately got blown up by forces from your side. You managed to lie your way out of jail, saying you knew they would turn up and you were stalling. You got a decent house and a decent car with the reward money, and quit space travel in exchange for the stock market. Although your life is ordinary, you have done well, and your kids face a bright future. You are currently writing your memoirs, and this is the last page.
The End.
(we need a new one now)

Well, this took an unnecessarily comical turn for the worse. Perhaps we should just rewrite this whole thing from when Zomboss decided to go for Search n Rescue? You also ignored the plot hole that is the " Desciples completely overrunning the Gaian Federation and the other species of the Galaxies' fleets ". Also, Thomas : there is no need to make a " new one ". There are tons of possibilities that all diverge from that beginning decision of investigating or maintaining course.
-------------------------- Your ship isn't prepped for ship-to-ship combat, so joining up with the Gaian Fleet is pointless. You approach Malho with the same mindset as the Zedong System from so long ago : call up a Gaian Patrol, let THEM solve the problem. Your ship does have some stealth drives, so Search n Rescue is deemed the decision you'll make. ------- After a few hours of interstellar travel, you arrive to Garrison B405, a generally untouched world, that is completely habitable. " Who would go here? It's just a Protean world with few outposts. Why was their distress signal ranked above the rest in our ship registry? " Comms Specialist Marvin James says, with a great zest of exposition. " Right, you weren't here, Mr. James.. " Lt. Razh says. " Yes, you see, back in the early days of this fine vessel we were dispatched to this world.. " Engineer Richard Holmes starts. " It was a bloodbath. The native fauna was a hostile race. Unfortunately, they were also super-intelligent, and inexplicably strong. " Lt. Razh continues. " The Galactic Guiding Board displayed a travel advisory star-sector-wide, and quarantined the whole place up. The race we nicknamed the " Machavoi " has since been left alone, with the occasional monitoring by listening posts. " Greg Nimoy finishes. " So why come here? " Chief Analyst Lars Rukhzhev asks. " Isn't it obvious? The damn Guiding Board knows they'll lose this war, and it'll be us who- " An explosion rocks the entire ship! The ship's entire circuitry goes out, and the emergency lights come on. " We're being shot down! This is the GFV Baron of Bavaria, requesting immediate assistance, is anyone out there, over! " No response. It all happens so fast, between soldiers grabbing their guns, aliens boarding the ship and the entire place imploding. You black out. -------- You wake up, bloody and injured. Billows of smoke arise on the horizon. A few of your men lay with you, some dead, some struggling. After a quick role call, you understand that those who are with you are 2 soldiers, a scientist and 4 of the ship's engineers. You need to regroup with your squad, find where these survivors are and get out of this hellhole of a planet, if you even managed to land on Garrison. So, where to look first?
Search the Jungle. Search at where the billows of smoke are originating from. Try to scan for any signals in the area.

Search for the billows of smoke, who surely are a sign of a form of life. In the jungle there are probably some very dangerous species and signals do not necessarily need to exist in the area.

Let's investigate another site of billowing smoke. If we choose any other option we may die due to hostile aliens.

After a short break, you lead your group to another site with high hopes. --- The scene on arrival is terrifying. Soldiers are impaled across the crash site of the Baron of Bavaria. Crewmen lay everywhere, their intestines ripped apart and half of their bodies torn apart. A few, scared soldiers walk out from behind some wreckage. " We're all that's left. Everyone else... they were killed. " You scan the sky for more smoke, but find nothing. Then it is true. A crew of fifty, slaughtered down to fourteen. " We need to split up ; the engineers will stay behind and fix the ship, while the rest of us find those survivors... " Lt. Razh declares. " No, we go together! If those.. things, could do this to fifty of us, then I'm damn sure a few unarmed crewman and a few soldiers will be mincemeat. " The scientist, Professor Davos, says. " Guys, we aren't even sure where we are! We shouldn't plan ahead in a world where the natives are killing machines! " Pilot Nimoy says. " Hey, Nimoy is right. " One of the soldiers says. " Hmm, I suppose we should leave this for another time... but still, we need to figure out where these Machavoi are coming from, and how did they take us down from the sky! I thought their intense hostility stopped them from evolving, especially after learning how to split the atom... " Razh says. " So Commander, what should we do in the mean time? " Davos asks.
The crew should do some combat drills. The crew should focus efforts on repairing the ship. The crew should invest themselves completely into tracing the distress signal, which we came here for. The crew should study local fauna, for possible food resources and better understanding of Machavoi weaknesses. The crew should attempt to piece together video footage of the attack of the ship. The crew should divvy up the different tasks equally.

Can we choose a mix? If so, #2 and #5. If not, The crew should study local fauna, for possible food resources and better understanding of Machavoi's weaknesses. The crew need to survive this planet, and they do need to eat.

Despite the crew ( and their natural leader Greg Nimoy )'s requests, you decide that the best option is to repair the ship. After all, how can you run a rescue operation if you cannot evacuate? -------------- And thus, you and your party of nine - 7 soldiers, Lt. Razh and an engineer -, go on a mission to scavenge the last parts of the Baron of Bavaria. Along the way, you uncover several mysterious symbols, hidden along strange-looking paths and the trunks of trees. Whoever was here was apparently very hostile, due to the multiple images of swords and fires you find.
2 clicks out from your camp site, you encounter a vast amount of wildlife. They quickly scurry, tweet and flock away from the clearing. Quite frankly, the experience is shocking due to the lack of local fauna you have seen thus far. However, what is truly frightening is hearing several shrills a few minutes later to the West.
" These buggers are watching us. Waiting for their moment to strike. We need to get off this planet ASAP. " Lt. Razh declares.
" What!? That would defeat the entire purpose of our landing here! We need to find these stranded people, and THEN get the hell out of here! " A soldier says. A few of his comrades laugh, but then another shrill, this one seemingly closer, echoes and screams throughout the trees and leaves. Everybody is quiet after that, and it seems they have a certain, new haste to their step. ------- Throughout the rest of the trek, several other inaudible screams are heard from the West. Sometimes, they increase in speed and repetition, in other they get louder, then vice verse. Once you get to the crash site, the crew seems genuinely scared to death.
" Let's start here; a few of the engine fuel reserves are in these crates. " The engineer says. ----------- After a few hours of scavenging, something moves in the bushes. The clearing of the crash site suddenly seems even worse than the forest that surrounds you.
" Fuck this! I'm out of here! " A soldier says in response to the shrills and screams that now surround your scavenging party. He dashes into the trees rapidly, but then a sharp yelp is heard and quickly silenced. All at once, the screams end, and are replaced with a more humanoid one. It's now clear that these things know who we are, where we are. After picking up and compacting a few more things, Lt. Razh organizes the soldiers and you're on the move again. ---------- " 1200 meters! " Lt. Razh shouts. You don't expect what comes next.
All at once, you are surrounded by the Machavoi creatures, and the guns of your soldiers blaze with fire and shells. A man is pinned to the ground, another witnesses his friend get their intestines ripped out.
Your men are being slaughtered surgically, and the engineer can't hold on his own. It's clear that a complete tactical victory is off-the-table. Think fast or you'll end up mince meat too!
Head into the Western Woods. Head into the Eastern Woods. Head back to the Crash Site. Phalanx your way to the Camp Site.

You decide to order a withdrawal among the ranks of your men. And thus, one by one, they descend back to your crash site which was once so vulnerable, but now it seems that you are truly the one who is vulnerable. -------- With 3 Soldiers remaining, Lt. Razh just barely intact and the engineer completely safe, you assess your own wounds at the crash site. You appear to have multiple incisions across your back and dotting your legs. " Damn damn damn! The Engineers! Nimoy! The Scientist! They're as good as dead! We're cut off from them! Oh god.. no no no! That douche James could die any day of the week! And Watsky? Useless! But not Nimoy! My friend... -" Lt. Razh rambles on and becomes less and less coherent as your party (now cut in half) sets up a perimeter. The high pitched shrills continue to rise around your group like a crescendo in some Grand Symphony. You are just about to knock some sense into Razh when your Wrist-Comm picks up a comm signal. Strange-it appears to one you have never seen, but the Comm device picks it up as a recent signal. Then it hits you - the survivors! " Hello? This is Commander Ross of the Soviet Federative Personal Guard Corps! We were evacuating the Federative into Galactic Guiding Board Space when we were ambushed by Zjavek pirate raiders! The native Machavoi have us pinned down in our makeshift outpost! If anyone is hearing this, we are transmitting our co-ordinates along with our broadcast! *scratch, whirr* Hello? This is Commander Ross- " Your mind spits rapid fire thoughts at you: The Guard Corps of the highest government ranks of the Federation? We were shot down by Zjaveks? Where the hell is this outpost? We didn't see an outpost during the planetary scans. How many are left of them? How old is this signal? Can we- " Captain, the outpost is only a few hundred meters away! We could link up with them and then make a dash for the Baron of Bavaria, and then get the heck off of this rock! " Lt. Razh snaps to. He's right, but what if the transmission is outdated? It's a gamble that could cost the lives of your men. Is that responsibility of murdering them something you want to die with? Or escape with like a coward? The shrills accumulate in sound, and gunshots are audible in the distance. Decide fast; you don't know if they are still alive, when they might get overwhelmed, or when you might get ambushed yourself!
-Try to head back to Camp again. -Make full pace to the Outpost. -Set up better fortifications. -Make a steady and cautious march into the Outpost.

Like a snake in the grass, they went across the hard textures. Snake in the grass. What a curious saying. Snake in the grass. I'd love to be called a snake in the grass. One that slithers And bites
And so they went on, like a snake in the grass. Cautiously and stealthily, with the ease of trained soldiers (in which they were). "Vorpost 9? Ja, is it open?" They asked a Bayern denizen, with a negative response (equating to one word, nein).
Vorpost 8? Nein. Sheiße.
Those were their best hopes. So they went and plundered some guns.
Which guns did they manage to get?
1. AK-47 2. Spas-12 3. Knife fueled by gunpowder
