While we're challenging the new ladder boot times, why not ask for a customisable minimum boot time for multiday quickmatch games as well and also have the option to allow vacations to be honoured?
3 days boot with vacations honoured has always been the norm (default game peace settings). It's QM and the ladder updates that have been forcing 1 day and no vacations.

QuickMatch is supposed to give quick matches (of lower quality, so games start faster), so it makes sense that it has a shorter boot time.

Sure, but perhaps some people don't play MD quickmatch right now because they don't want 1d boot? I feel like customizability rarely hurts. Default should still be 1d for reasons you said

^ that's what i was thinking, in the average player's case QM replaces the need for open game, the only reason for open games is for longer boot and templates that arent in QM
