See here's the thing. Terrorists target civilians, the U.S is targeting terrorists.

During the last 10 years, US killed 710 civillians in Pakistan with drone strikes, including 175 children. In Pakistan, an allied nation ...

http://drones.pitchinteractive.com/

How many american children have been killed by pakistan during the last ten years?
And to be fair; when Terrorists target civilians, the US are leaded by a bunch of terrorists as well!

Also, to say that religion doesn't play a role with terrorism is ignorant in so many ways.

Indeed, I havent mentioned something like that! Although, I would rather say that terrorism arises from despair, disequilibrium in forces, political propaganda and lack of humanity, which could easily be a result from a psychic trauma. But if you want to argue that religion is related to politics, I would agree.

Perhaps your blind hate for the U.S is clouding your perception on this matter.

Im sorry mate, but your polemics just proof your inferior argumentation!

You also give arguments with no facts, putting them on par with an opinion, whereas I have given multiple sources proving bigger parts of my defenses. You are either a troll or very stupid.

Utterly pointless comment, why don't you actually do some research and pick a side on torture instead of this 6th grade humor you seem to love so much.

Lawlz posts stuff.
Lawlz makes comments.
Trolls make comments.
The fact that Lawlz makes comments and trolls make comments show a similarity between the two, although the simularity has a weak link and is very much circumstantial.
To troll is to upset other people.
Lawlz upsets other people.
A lot of people hate trolls.
A lot of people hate lawlz.
Trolling causes arguments.
Arguements sometimes cause excessive arguments, usually further pushed to activation by extensive trolling.
I like pie and so should you.
Lawlz causes arguments.
Proof of this is that Lawlz started a brief argument about who the troll is: SKOURBSTER OR HIM???
Trolls have a bad reputation.
-No Comment here-
SKOURBY LIKES PIES TOO
Lawlz acts like a troll so therefore there is a great amount of reason that Lawlz is a troll.
A person who acts like a troll is generally referred to as a troll by the general community.
Lawlz is referred to as a troll.
If variables xyz subtracted by the ninth power of negative five thousand is divided by the ninty first power of zero, the calculator will crash.
Lawlz is a troll.
TROLL CONFIRMED.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
CONSIDER YOURSELF BLESSED AND GO BUY YOURSELF AN ICE CREAM... XD

+1. First time I enjoyed a comment from Semicedevine. :)

"At least this cartoonist doesn't have to worry about Americans breaking in and murdering him/her for the criticism." The gunmen werent killing because they were scared of criticism. Drawing mohammed is like taking a dump on a grave, its not critical. They felt bullied and victimised, they felt like their cultral heritage had been deeply disrespected for decades, and they were very bitter about it. Then the cartoonists did something offensive and unwarranted (in the gunmens eyes) and they lashed out. Do you understand why they did what they did?

There is no american charlie hebdo. American culture is so oppressive and controlling that something as anti-authoritarian as charlie hebdo couldnt exist there. almost all american satirists are lobotomised way before there is any risk of them doing something genuinely conscientious or revolutionary. American culture may judge islamic states for being less free and tolerant but theyre both way way behind the french. It was the french cultures' attitude of freedom of thought that allowed the gunmen to consider doing what they did. It is ridiculous for american culture to criticise the muslim gunmen for being oppressive. They were free and were permitted the privacy to come to an unorthodox conclusion that they genuinely believed was right.

This just isn't true. You can find political satire anywhere here. Even stuff that is harshly critical of others. The mainstream stuff that might wash up on your shores might be bland and unfunny, but it's still deeply critical.

Edit: also I'd like to say that Charlie Hebdo's Mohammed cartoons were kind of lazy trolling. Not thought-provoking. Not very conscientious or revolutionary. Reminds me of South Park.

There is nothing in america that doesnt take the desires of the state into consideration at all. Edgy political american just break rules, Charlie acts like there are none. They were a bunch of outcast nerds who did their own thing without paying any attention to how they were recieved, thats an aspirational kind of freedom. American satirists who are deeply critical are not free, theyve just been given a bigger cage.

also, frankly, attacking u.s. culture is lazy. it's equally lazy to the right-wing blindly attacking islamic culture. the societies are HUGE. HUGE targets where you can find ANYTHING to justify your argument. you and myhand, while equally articulate, are equally lazy and unoriginal.

Piggy your argument simply is untrue. While comparing the freedom of two cultures is technically a subjective thing to do, it is difficult to argue that the sexist, over-centralized governments of the Middle East are more oppressive than the U.S.

Also, slammy, I love your comment on the laziness of U.S. culture attacks. I have been looking for a good way to say that for a while. It is so easy in this day and age to jump on the American-hate bandwagon, and the arguments that those types of people have tend to be vague and with only a pinch of heavily-biased facts to back them up. It is upsetting when people, especially clearly educated people like yourself, piggy, waste their efforts on making the easy, spineless arguments in a debate.
