If it was a lie, it was your lie, I pretty clearly stated I was not pursuing that Fyi ... this is the cost/start/increment for IT, only calculated up to +1440 mins

Could very well be, I just tried to estimate it, and I probably did a mistake somewhere in that estimate. So krinid, here's how to get 1 year IT: Step 1: Get 134k Start AP Step 2: Do a ton of instant +25%AP SAsc Step 3: Play Hex Earth Step 4: Spent like half an hour clicking upgrade on Increased Idle Time Done, that easy, only 4 steps

The total cost for n increments of idle time is 132 + 10*(n + 1)^2 AP. Each increment gives half an hour, so there are 48 increments in a day. Taking a year to be 365 days, we therefore need 48*365 - 4 = 17516 increments to get a year of idle time. (We subtract 4 since we start with two hours already, which is four half-hours.) The total AP required is thus 132 + 10*(17516 +1)^2 = 3,068,453,022 AP, as given by SubLunar Unit.
(As to how to get that formula in the first place... the increments go up linearly, so the overall formula is going to be quadratic. One could fit a quadratic to three of the values, or just play around a bit to find a nicer form directly.)

Stef are you sure that's not already in the game? You should test it, krinid should aswell, just in case it bugs out for one of you

I've been playing idle for about a year I think. I've acsended twice, I haven't super acsended because I want to get one of my artis to insane first. I have four legendary, TW, Merc Discount, TS, and Alloy Value.
Do things speed up after you super acsend? I still can't wrap my mind around that many insanes. With dig time, I figure it'll be another couple of months before I get my first insane. From what I've been reading on the forum, I plan on making AV insane.

Actually things SLOW DOWN after your 1st SAsc, b/c other than the artis you carry over, you're essentially starting the game over again back at 0 AP, 0 Adv's, and I'm sure you recall how slow progress was back then
What you do have however is knowledge, of the levels, of gameplay, etc, combined with your carry over artis, so you'll be a bit faster than when you first started, but by how much depends on the arti selections, their levels & your gameplay style
Though if you read a lot of forum posts, used the available maps, etc, perhaps you were already fairly quick with your gameplay and there isn't much room for improvement until you get your AP/Adv's back again
As for how to get so many insanes, I spent 49 SAsc upgrade rewards on digging speed. So my digging speed reduction is 1-(0.2)^49=1-5.62949953421312e-35=rounds up to 1 unless you have a lot of sigdigs in play
Then add the Faster Digging 50% buff, and this means that digs finish so quickly that I get all the digs on all levels I play in just a few mins per level, and I've played Hex Earth (which has 264 dig sites) a slew of times (easily >250 times) = 264*250= 66,000 artifacts just from Hex alone, and each Hex clear yields 0-1 Epics, 0-2 Rares, 40-80 Uncommons, ~120 commons & ~80 poors, and in the end I find that after you upgrade all of that (multiple days & multiple cycles of upgrades) it results in ~1 Legendary per Hex clear, so if you spam multiple Hex clears in a row (6-10), it will result in 1 Insane for the patient and persistent player
Then add in snagging Epics from WZIB & Hard Copper and artis from other levels and things get golden quickly (golden = the colour of Insane)
But yea first you have to slog through at least 30-40 SAsc's to get a high # of dig buffs, and to do that you need to slog through 30-40 to get a high # of +25% AP buffs, and to do that you need to slog through 10-20 to get artifact carry over slots (else you have no ability to take anything with you) or to do that it helps to slog through about 10-20 to get +100 starting AP buffs to get the 1st few post-SAsc levels started quickly
TLDR, it's a long road but once you reach the breaking point, SAsc's & accumulating artis get quicker each time not slower
