what I understood from the proponents of legalized firearms in the US is that their society is full of vile criminals who will exploit the average citizen unless the said citizen has a gun to protect themselves with.

I do t support everyone having a gun in America. And I am an American. When the founding fathers created that amendment, people had MUSKETS! Now anyone an be an attack rifle and shoot up a school and Republicans (who are the main supporters of this and also the anti-Evolution issue which I'll bring up) can't give up on that thought! Completely stupid. Insane is how some people fanatically reject evolution. That's all I have to say. And I hate it when people call me gun fanatic or a hyperpatriot because I am American.

I think schools should not teach evolution or creationism. Like I've said about homosexuality, that should be a decision left for our own children's research and thoughts.

Also, this does not derail the topic, this is a response to Andrew's evolution statement.
