I added the red oval to show where it had been up until a few days ago. Any ideas if/when the filter will re-appear?

Are you using any extensions? The tabs in the top bar are all missing in your screenshot. Same extension could be hiding the filter button.

Another good attempt, but Nope no extensions. These are my Pull-down menus:

you have a filter set, so thats probably hiding 1 or 2 games that put you over the threshold for the filter to appear at all
