I forgot to add: there's 12 games per round. So each template would need to be covered twice, by two different players. I does add a twist, compared to CL.
i think the swiss system we currently have is quite nice and I don't really see why it should be changed. seeding within teams sounds cool and indeed gives an edge to the stronger team but practically it won't work.
I came up with some ideas about matchmaking but I think the best was that teams will decide their respective opponent, instead of being random. Facing the same oponent twice would be possible in this situation. e.g.: -Team A decided their opponents -Team B does the same simultanously
if the option of facing the same opponent twice is disabled, then team B would have to pick after team A made their choices
This is to improve strategising and to satisfy those with personal feuds
