I just started Europe Huge and was wondering about the best order to capture the Hospitals. I got the ones in Spain, France, Austria and Croatia in this order but should the next one be Greece or Belgrade? Greece is farther from my captured territories but I may be able to run down the Italian peninsula and jump across to Greece and then work back up to Belgrade (based on lower bonuses, this path may be quickest). Or, I can take the shorter but harder route from Croatia down the Balkan peninsula to capture Belgrade first and then continue down to Greece (holding off going through Italy until my hospitals allow me to take it for free.). It seems that taking Belgrade first will make the route to Greece pretty fast due to the higher # of saved armies.
Bonus question - To take the market in Germany, is it better to go east from the market in northern France or go north from the hospital in Austria? Its the same issue - a longer but easier path or a shorter but harder one (based on bonus values).
How do you guys play this level?
Thanks.

The early hospitals save too little to be useful... Try to get the big hospitals ASAP Usually I get the France market & German market Milk the market Go straight for Turkey & Caucasus, getting the markets along the way Get the 2 Hospitals at Caucasus Then the Crimea Hospital Then 2 Hospitals at East of Ukraine & North of Ukranie Then the Norway Hospital The rest is easy.

Colossus, I already used my epic SAC so I'm in a 16 hour cooldown and getting to Turkey in the meanwhile may be impossible (my army camp production is only around 50k/sec). My attributes are all epic and rare except for legendary TS and AV. It will probably now take me hours just to get to Germany. However, I certainly understand your logic. Getting the bigger hospitals will allow me to capture the lesser ones for free. I just wonder if I blew my chances for this by going after the hospitals in Austria and Croatia instead of the market in Germany. Of course, I can always try your strategy in 16 hours (actually about 13) from now.
As a side note, the overall GAME playing strategy guides are great but it would be very helpful if the more experienced players published a MAP playing guide, too.

It is doable once you have get the France Market. You can get the 3-4 mercenary camp at Western France, milk the market & buy all the mercenary. Then you should have enough army to conquer Germany Market. Milk the Germany Market Then start from Spain via Sicily to Greece. Eastern Greece & Western Turkey has decent Mercenary Camp, plus the market at Central Turkey shall get you through Eastern Caucasus. This all depends on you having good Alloy Value Artifact (lengendary is more than enough) plus decent Additional Mercenary Advance (75%~100% at least).

My mercs are maxed. Thanks for the path information. After I grab a few more techs (I'm crafting copper wire, screws and barbed wire ), I'll give it a go.

As a general guideline, you should always prioritize reaching the next market with the armies that you have atm. Only then, your priority should be the next merc camp. And only then, you should aim for a hosp.
Most of the time I literally ignore hosps until I have ALL markets of the map.

Otto, With legendary AV, I see your point. But with epic AV, money was tight so relying more on hospitals and conserving mercs and $$$ early on was more necessary. I still need to get used to the power of legendary AV. In Trisk I had plenty of mercs at the end and just enough money to clear the map once I captured the last market (red citadel), grabbing and upgrading hospitals along the way. If I spent money on mercs too soon, ignoring the hospitals, I would have run out of money at the end and it would have cost me at least another day to finish. Even though I got 27t from the markets, I still needed 3t from selling ore to buy the last few mercs (with the hospitals upgraded to max or level 4, whichever is smaller). Of course, I probably could have saved trillions of $$$ by only upgrading hospitals to level 2.
There's plenty of strategy for me to think about.

Colossus, just to be clear, I decided to get the first +15% alloy tech before milking the markets. (The second one would be nice, too, but clearing the second ore value tech to get to the second alloy boost is too difficult now. I don't want to mess around getting the recipes for, and crafting, metal sheet and struct. I already have the recipes and ore I need for the first one.). All things being equal, that should increase my money from the markets by ~20-25%.

Thanks to Napkin, there exists exactly what you ask for. At least to some extend. https://www.warzone.com/Forum/693941-made-mini-guides-beginners-sengoku-idle

Colossus, I decided to slow down just a bit. I grabbed the hospitals in Greece and Belgrade and updated them to level 2, giving me 80m saves per territory. I then grabbed the market in turkey but didn't milk it for cash yet. My market in Germany is still at sell lead equals 2x buy lead and I have plenty of mercs & cash. I reached the first hospital in the Caucasus (9+B) and my cool down is ending so I'm using my legendary TS to capture the hospital and save mercs and give me back about 5b troops. It may not be the most efficient way to play this map but I'm only 17 hours in so I'm happy with my progress. I plan to play it again right after completing it so I can test other approaches. Thanks for your help.
Oh, I also got the second alloy sell boost tech. Figured the extra money couldn't hurt and I had time to smelt & craft while upgrading the hospitals.

Thanks for the help, guys. 1 day, 10 hours in and I have all the markets and all the hospitals upgraded to max or level 4. Just waiting to finish crafting 2 relays and magnets to get the last few needed techs and then I will be able to clear the rest of the map sometime tomorrow., unless I run into more than 1 big stack that my mercs can't handle. (The legendary TS will deal with it/them but I'd rather not waste time warps to reduce the cool down times.)

Colossus, I know about the 420B stack. Legendary TS will give me over 200B for taking it at the low cost of a 16 hour cool down. And there is a 99B stack a few steps away that the 200B payout will easily clear. Hopefully the mercs and army caches will take care of those other pesky 27-30B remaining stacks so I only have 1 cool down to wait through to finish up. If so, I could be done by tomorrow evening and start the next map the next day. I plan to play EH again and do a lot of digging and upgrading artifacts afterwards. Then HEH and HTrisk will get me to phase 4 well before Christmas.
