Friend sent this to me and I had to share, as I'm sure many on here would enjoy this. Back in the states, does this commercial air on repeat during Fox news commercial breaks? Just to keep things on an even keel?

How does this ad help keep the discussion on an 'even keel'? Sure, it's nice that they're promoting a website that addresses the various critiques typically made regarding Monsanto, but it hardly constitutes a 'discussion' - it's a list of critiques, with Monsanto's rebuttals, and that's the end of the discussion.

One may well say that some of the information on that website is typically elided by critics of Monsanto, which is true enough. But in doing so, it replicates the same problem: cherry-picking data, and occluding the opportunity for substantive conversation in favour of reinforcing a preferred ideological position.

Haha well I was referring to my Fox news commercial break joke...as in they could show a nonsense commercial like this during a Fox news break and it wouldn't be any different than the nonsense they "report" on.

3D print the food. They can print shoes, mini TARDIS's (as they have for ages, but they never get old) and even cars (search up Local Motors, and no the Rally Fighter isn't 3D printed unfortunately).

Eventually we will be able to 3D print food.

One of the most evil corporations of all time.
Organized crime that uses massive lobbism and corruption to legalize its despicable activities.

Thomas, you do know, don't you, that your enthusiasm for 3D printing could be argued to be absolutely antithetical to the way Monsanto does business?

3D printing - enabling individuals to be able to more easily put the means of production into their own hands. BTW, are you familiar with the RepRap project, which is all about creating 3D-printable 3D printers, ie, self-replicating machines? It's exciting stuff...

The Monsanto way of doing business - attempting to take the initiative for food production away from the people, and make it wholly a matter of corporate/capitalist prerogative and control.

I also wouldn't get too carried away with enthusiasm about the prospect of 3D-printable food...

I am sorry, I love the idea of asking a machine for lasagna or salad or whatever and it makes it for you. I mean cooking is fun sometimes, but we spend (across our lives) years on it.

and i don't agree with mosanto. But 3D printing food would be good, because you could make food that was healthy, filling and tasty for less than people currently spend on food, meaning less fat people and more food for the hungry.
