For those that didn't notice it yet: the last games for this CL were created on the 16th of May!

After most of the games are now done, its clear that Battle Wolves and Soldiers of Fortune are relegating. As can be seen below, both now have a lower Max Points than the current points of the other clans.

VS is clearly leading the pack, having by far the most points so far.
[V.I.W] Very Important Weirdos and M'Hunters are having a fight over second place, with both clans still having plenty of unfinished points that they got a good chance.
Nestlings and KILL ‘EM ALL have both fallen far enough that they can no longer get first place, and while they in theory can still get 2nd, given their recent performance I doubt they will make it to the top 3.

It should be noted that Nestlings has gotten slightly unlucky, since their 2v2 Szeurope no-join loss also had both Manscherle and SkyGreg also no-joining, but since Coenquistatore was booted before them, they won the game by default.

As I predicted in the last bigger update, Nestlings and KILL ‘EM ALL have fallen far enough that they realistically cannot make 3rd place anymore.

M'Hunters is getting further and further behind on [V.I.W] Very Important Weirdos in terms of max possible points, and VS is getting further ahead.

Hard to say right now how close 2nd and 3rd place will end up being at the end of the season, but if things keep going the way they are, the end of the season won't be very exciting.

really interesting that:
- Viw won 4 1vs1 tournaments
- MH won 3 team-tournaments and has been the better clan in team games
- VS has won just 1 tournament, 1v1 moreover, but in the end won the whole thing thanks to ZERO boots/non-join and posting positive records in all tournaments except DeadRome. Getting second in every tournament is the way to go !

Thanks VIW! That was as close as it gets down to the last game.

You are correct in that VS only won the one tourney, but we were tied for first at 5-1 in both Landria and Unicorn as well so got tied most or most points in 3 of 11 tourneys.

In past seasons, our team games have been our strength but without INSIDE and Nick playing this year, our teams were not as strong as our 1v1 where we went 30-6. I think the competition was quite good all around but particularly MHunters and VIW whom we had a combined losing record against.

Tough that only one team advances. Would have been great to battle you guys again next year in B. And honestly with the amount of clans that drop out that is still a very distinct possibility as VIW has more points then second place in C1 so you would be next up for promotion is any clan drops.

In any case we had a lot of fun and feel fortunate to have pulled out the 'W'.

With that, we come to the end of the season!

Once again, congratulations to VS for coming first!
They pulled ahead early on in the season, and haven't really been overtaken ever since.

The fight between [V.I.W] Very Important Weirdos and M'Hunters for 2nd and 3rd place was much closer, with VIW finishing on top in 2nd place, pushing MH to 3rd.

Nestlings and KILL ‘EM ALL were contending at the start of the season as well, but as the season played on, it became clear they wouldn't be able to make it to the top 3.

Battle Wolves and Soldiers of Fortune suffered from no-joins at the start of the season, and due to some very late subs (perhaps caused by a general lack of CL-capable players in those clans?) it was clear from the get go that they would not make it this season and would be relegating.

Looking at the booting statistics, Nestlings, BW, and SoF all lost a load of points from boots and in particular no-joins.
Despite a hopeful start of the season, with games finishing quickly and a couple players failing to join their games in time, the season ended up a boot party again, with 39 / 231 (17%) of games ending from boot.

Since this will be my last update in this thread, I would also like to thank all of you that played Clan League this season, since CL would be nothing without its clans and their players :)
I hope to see everyone play again next season, and to those that promote, good luck and have fun in Division B!
