Subject is self explanatory. for years I felt that the 40 custom scenario slot limit should have been raised. Scenarios for a while have been able to hold well over 40 slots, yet cant be hosted if they include more then 40. Now there was an update that finally allowed this... yet it was in a capacity where it can only be done if slots are randomized... why not AT LEAST allow those who pay for memberships to host non randomized say 50 slot custom scenario games.

Ah nice, another thing to add to the list of potential member-only features that probably won't make it.

Having it at 50 seems fair. Instead of saying a membership unlocks 25 open seats (useless if you already have more than those due to leveling up), it could be +10 open seats instead of the fixed number. That way, if you level up enough, you can eventually have 50 seat games.

Since WZ can support games up to 400 players, this technically should be doable.

You can create games with up to 400 players. Has to be a 'Mega Game' instead of 'Invite Directly' or 'Invite by Code'. Mega games must have at least 40 players. Custom scenario goes up to slot OJ (which is the first 400 players).

The 'Randomize Slots' option starts as unchecked. Are you trying to say that this gets enabled by force when the game is actually created?

Or is the ability to assign players a certain slot missing?

I'm saying that I'd like to, as a member at least be able to host a normal game with at least 50 slots. Right now the fact any game above 40 spots is limited to mega games is ridiculous, and no you can't pick slots if u host those games it's randomized to my knowledge. My argument essientally is, if I can make a regular game that uses more then 40 slots, I should be able to host it too as a regular game.

I asked Fizzer about it shortly after this thread was made. Reply was:

it is intentional that slots can't be assigned in mega games.

Well yes, of course it was intentional.
If it was his intention to allow it, he would have added it....
