"It's also not that hard to take your turn in time" if you don't have a life outside of Warlight and if you limit your games to simple maps. I hate hearing crap like this. You have no idea about the lives of any other players so STFU about what you think you know about where they're coming from.
If you drag a game out to try to draw a boot, you're a loser. You get the win, but the only skill you've demonstrated is your surplus of free time. Some of us are here for the challenge that the game presents. It's no challenge to have nothing better to do with your life.
I know that the majority of warlight is in gradeschool. Also, if you took the time to read my post i listed all the shit i have to do in my life, which i guarantee is more than most people on here, i still find the time to play. Anyways, all of this is irrelevent. Because i warn people multiple ways that the rules are strictly enforced. If they still join , thats their responsibility. Why play a game if you know you cant play it.
Not to mention most of us are playing on a device we carry with us 24/7. Just set up push notifications on your phone and you'll know instantly when it's your turn. I have two jobs, a pet to care for, and other freelance work that I do. Yet I almost never have trouble keeping up with the 8 hour boot games I usually play.
Some of us like our games to move fast. Maybe instead of being sore losers, more players should try not to get involved in games that they aren't skilled or dedicated enough to finish.
Like I said, every situation is different. If you work 3 jobs and still have time to play 8hr boot games, then your jobs simply aren't that demanding, and you probably neglect your pet. Not everybody has phones. Many players live in countries with piss-poor internet service and need to go to a cafe to play. My point is that if you drag a game out in hopes to win by boot, you're a loser - whether you warned players or not. It's a cheap win.
I feel like the only loser here is the guy who feels like he's qualified to make judgments about my life despite never having met me.
If you don't have a reliable connection to the game, it's your responsibility to join games where you can actually play by the rules. it's not my job to cater my rules to you. If you don't like it, don't join. But if you do join, you have no right to complain about getting booted, no matter how far into the game it is. Making everyone else wait just makes you a jabroni
Insult me all you want, the point still remains. We dont force people to join out games. If you have poor internet then dont join a game that requires a more demanding requiremnt to play. Again we dont force anyone to play we set a game up people join on their own accord.
As far as "delaying a win" anything can happpen trying to survive doesnt always end in a boot its called a comeback maybe the person about to win leaves a bonus open anything can happen. I think thats what queefballs was saying

I've only ever BL'd Pulsey, because it was funny. Now real idiots are on the site so I guess I might just have to use that feature more.
^ I blacklist people I know I might face in a game and I don't want that. I got some twats on my BL, including Michael the Great who BL'ed me because of that whole clan drama and I responded accordingly. I BL'ed both Pooncrew and QB but I will never play them anyway so I un-BL'ed them because I don't like filling up my blacklist.
I never said my humor was mature. I just think if someone is gonna call me out for being immature when they have a pokemon as their icon then maybe they need to look in the mirror. Also, im starting to think everyone on here is a virgin, gay, or asexual because the amount of people ive seen who've been baffled and offended by my icon is staggering.

QB, you make assumptions about everyone else's life (assuming access to smartphones and internet, etc). I just doubt that you really know what it's like to be busy if you can still make 8hr games a priority. If we have no right to complain about a loser who snatches cheap wins by booting, then you have no right to complain about the blacklists you'll end up on.
Poon, comebacks aside, there are plenty of situations where the only thing that can save a player is a boot, and it's often very clear when those situations occur. If you hang on to a game just to hope for a boot, then you're wasting my time and you're going on my blacklist.
The first place I heard of warlight was the Google play store so I always assumed it was a smartphone app with online forums. I'm also pretty sure that like 95% of people play primarily on their phone. That's why I talk about smartphones.
The only assumptions I make about other people's lives is that they have enough time to play a game that they join. as Poon mentioned, we have never forced anyone to join by our games, but it's kind of understood that if you join someone else's game you play by their rules.
I'm just saying, kind of a bitch move to join a game, not play by the rules, then piss and moan and blacklist when you dont follow them. that would be like if you invited me to your house for dinner, told me beforehand we were having chicken, then I stopped speaking to you when I showed up and we weren't having steak.
