What should I do on the Europe challenge? I usually head south of Britain with all my armies, trying to break bonuses wherever I can. Then the computer sneaks in behind my back to take Britain and I am left with very few pieces per turn. I tried to claim Spain, but the AI just stacked up his armies and blasted me. I know lots of people can beat this no problem, but as a newcomer I would appreciate some advice.

Attack full-steam-ahead (like you're doing) and send your AI friend all the reinforcements using Airlift Cards. Unfortunately, AI is quite stupid, so it's your job to send them in a way that will hurt your enemy the most (for ex. when you see he's going to attack with 100 armies somewhere, airlift there and his armies will bump into your stack).

I've only played it once, but when i did it, i gave myself the reinforcements the first time, to counter the armies coming from italy, then afterwards reinforced them with the other two, and by that point, armies i had amassed from capturing france and italy

Thanks! I actually beat it without sharing any reinforcements with the AI. I didn't think my teammate could be trusted with so much power. The enemy for some reason sent more armies against me in the south, and my partner in the north seemed to handle himself okay.

yeah, i sent him some, but he generally wasted them, i only sent them places so that he'd be able to prevent the enemy from getting some of his bigger bonuses, in the end, my partner owned a lil less then what he started with

I played Europe twice, won both under 20 turns with the strategy I described. Although the AI was mostly attacking my ally, not me.

I beat the Europe Challenge in 22 turns.

The first turn I invaded the French coast and put my reinforcements in my territory adjacent to my ally. Thereafter for maybe 5-8 turns I gave all my reinforcements to my ally, but I put all my airlifts in my own territory--first one in France, then another in France, and the last in Poland, after which the Germans fell pretty quickly.

I beat it in 25 turns my first time without any problem. Sent airlifts to the U.S.S.R., but only when it was a single country surrounded, which made sure he'd do some damage with it quickly.

I just beat my new speed record the other day, sent all but 1 reinforcement to myself, and that 1 was when there was 100+ obviously going to hit somewhere in the USSR.

ended winning at 19 turns, my ally had no bonuses when the game ended, merely a sliver on the right hand side of russia.
imho the most important move was to use first airlift to counter, with aid from forces already there, the army coming up from italy, so you can break bonuses and capture the france 6

course i tried it like 3-4 times, i don't recall them always putting so many reinforcements on my border, it took me 2-3 turns to break through on my eastern bordercause they kept putting +40 ish there to stop me..

There's USSR no more for about 20 years. And red color of your teammate in Europe Challange doesn't count! ;)

the eurpope challange is obviously a similarity to WWII, in which... there was a USSR
