simple question: I'm about to ascend for the very first time (no super ascension yet). Do I keep all artifacts or just two?

I’ve read conflicting messages regarding this issue and, as far as I understand, the game has also changed throughout the years. Therefore, older messages from 2, 3 years may not be up-to-date anymore

only in super-ascension you'll lose some.

Ascend:
Level progress reset

Super-Ascend:
Level progress reset
AP reset
Challenges reset
WZIB reset
All artifacts but 2 discarded

You choose a bonus that carries over to all Super Ascends. Choices (choose one):
AP gain +25%
+1 Artifact carry-over in Super Ascend
Dig time -20% (if I remember correctly)
Starting AP +100 (after a Super Ascend)
The effects add up with repeated Super Ascend
