One of my alt's email addresses is something similar to "ffffffffffff@fffafafafafafafaa.com"; you don't even need a legit email address to create an alt
@ ಠ⌣ಠ - He broke rule 3, "You shall not operate more than one WarLight account in a way that gives you an advantage in a game, tournament or ladder." His alt(s) and main account should be banned.
Still don't know what the point of an alt is, and no one seems to have an answer.
Only logical reason I can think is for the purpose of giving yourself an advantage in games, or to troll. Though if your going to do the latter, you should probably just have the balls to let people know its you.
Odd. Just the other day I got myself a warning my e-mail had to be verified. I couldn't join any other game until I did so. Besides, you do have to use a phone number to create an outlook/hotmail account. I never used other e-mail provider other than microsoft ones so that might not be the case with yahoo, for instance
For example I have an alt in the Falcons so I can be a apart of there community as well as AfterDark, I also have one in Illuminati so I can get better at 1v1's.
the problem with detecting alts, is proxies. an alt from the same IP/same computer are easy to detect and ban when reported properly.. but when someone uses a proxy there is no real way to proof they are doing it, besides a right out confession.

The only reason why I choose to answer this, is because I had the same question myself.
REAL ALTS: Your secondary account that has a decent record in all the games you played on it. This type of alt is often used to get into a better clan than your primary, seeing as your primary is filled with your friends etc. TOURNAMENT FILLING: Alts you make to fill up slots in a tournament when you dont have enough people to actually play. People who use these have to state what account their using for the tourney. And in general if its a tourney filling alt, you surrender on turn one. TROLL ALTS: Dont really have to explain that one.
