@Tactique: In the real world you might beat someone who wronged you up once. You don't destroy them over and over and over and over again. So just give them their CW victory already. Chill for one season.
They should earn it or it doesn't feel right. I'd figure the goal is to actually win, not to get 1st place benefits and the goal of MB is to keep the win train rolling.
But what do I know.
One though though, if OP manages to displace MB from first place for a season or 2, I wonder what happens next Will MB having dislodged from 1st fall apart or just lose the urge to hustle, I mean they have been going full potato for so long, and it must be disheartening to get shoved off of first, or does it push them harder.
Also if OP gets first one or two times, they they redevelop their love of clam war dominance and stay with it or do they figure, we done it, we can relax again. Seems they try hard for a season or two and chill for a half year so I am guessing clam war dominance isn't priority one for them, just something they want to achieve/displace MB.
As someone in Prime I would not complain of both would step aside in such a scenario, nice to have a shot at first, but well, an old fart can dream, it's not as if I got anything else going for me ;)

We had a tough match against Ving today. But unfortunately our efforts were in vain, as they managed to clutch the loss and left us with our first win this season. We'll get them next time!
