sometimes it just takes a while. The ladder is running, and if no further players join, you'e alone.
And alone, you can't run 3vs3 games.

In a team, none of the players must exceed the selected max number of games. If your team was only recently formed, the individual team members may have a different number of games running. So you'll have to wait for those to finish before getting games in the new team setup...
