what are the business plans for the warlight?
you need high bandwith server to run the game.
with the number of people playing the game increasing what will you do to gain money?
is it going to become paid membership game?
are you going to place adds in the page?

I know the chat server has an ad, but i think it is due to the chat owner...

I agree with making a donations system. I wouldn't pay atm, but know many would, and I likely would in the future...

I like the idea of some games to have premium content that makes the game easier, but not giving any real advantages, but not sure how that could be implemented in this game. Could make limited availability for maps, etc. but that would be questionable..

Could even make creation of user created maps account only, but could help stagnant the game itself when it was intended to help Randy financially...


Any steps need to be carefully thought out and proceeded with caution, financially, so as not to make the game unfair to newbs, to limit creativity and advancement of map making namely*, but still make it a desirable reason to help finance WL.


And now that I've started rambling, due to the slight influence of alcohol, and limited time, I will desisst, and come back later to see what else i can ramble about :)

I may have said this before, but if Randy would just put up a Paypal link he'd get some donations. Of course, maybe he's independently wealthy, and doing this out of the goodness of his heart:)
