Win rate is rather meaningless without grouping by template. I’ve got 2 common games with him. They were team games and we weren’t in the same team. My team lost both times. The games are from 2013 but the name I remember.
Certain settings inherently make the game more luck based rather than skill based. Like using auto distribution rather than manual distribution.
I would say Quickmatch ratings are better indicators of skill rather than normal ranked games stats. Of all ladders, I believe only the seasonal ladder has an accurate skill rating. The others are more activity based. New good players might not be able to reach current ratings of current top players even if they really do play better.
