Sometimes I wait too long for QM to start, and I get autobooted after forgetting I was waiting.

Why can't the QM queue automatically cancel after 2 or 3 minutes?

I have been booted at least 10 times because it takes 5+ mins to find a game, and then I get autobooted because I forgot I was queued.

often my queue takes longer than a few minutes, not sure why I'd cancel it.

there is a cool feature if the qm queue is taking too long and you no longer want to play, press the cancel button.

also, turn your speakers up full blast when queueing so there's no way you won't hear the game start up.

I keep the volume off etc, I haven't used sound in this game for years.

Sounds like PEBKAC.

At the very least, this should happen if the player disconnects or closes the app

as a fight-of-europe player, i sometimes need to queue 10, 20, even 40 mins until i find a game

please dont make me press that button 20 times per game

@alex if you close/refresh the QM page while waiting for a game, you don’t get given a game. I’d assume same for closing the app.

It doesn't work for closing the app, I always end up getting a game

Closing the app leaves you in queue.

EDIT: Referring to the Classic app as I haven't used or even have had installed the Idle app since those ad watch issues were resolved a few years ago.

If you close/refresh the QM page while waiting for a game, you do get given a game.
You may login your alt in a computer and check it, even though the QM page does reload to "normal" state, the search continues

And you are likely to boot from it. The only way to truly cancel is to open QM search again, then cancel properly

^^I didn't know that, I've likely started and been booted from several QM games then, b/c surely at some point I just closed the browser and assumed it canceled the search :O

I’ve never got a game after refreshing the tab while waiting for a QM game.

Can confirm this bug exists.

I never had it before, but just got a random game from QM after I left the queue immediately after joining it.

Might have something to do with me leaving it by going back in the browser rather than by clicking the cancel button?
