Hello!

A quick question here for people who use Tournaments a lot:

It seems like Tournaments are hard to "see" in the UI. People often overlook or ignore invites, and there is no notification of Tournament chat in the Dashboard.

Is there something I'm missing? Or a better way to do this?

People seem to regularly miss invites to Tournaments and some never see the Chat at all.

I am not sure if this is a design issue with the UI, or if I'm missing a useful Setting somewhere (perhaps).

What do you think?

Invites are shows on the multi player dashboard, so if people miss it its either cause they just ignored it, didnt pay enough attention to their dashboard, or simply are not online often enough to be able to join tournaments that start in a day:

Chat does indeed not have any notifications on the dashboard, but most tournaments I am in don't have that much chat thats worth reading (but yours might?).

The chat does have a new message indicator text on the tournament page:

Yeah, that's quite right. I've never missed a tournament invite myself, but I wonder if they're harder to spot on the mobile app (some of my friends often miss them).

The Tournament chat is very hard to spot, though, unless you manually navigate to the Tournaments tab.

i find tournament invites easier to spot in the mobile app b/c the highlighted # is at the top of the screen, hard to miss

on the website, it's over on the right, and sometimes i think i have to scroll down to see it, so i often miss tourney invites until i used the mobile app (which i don't do often, really only for wheel spins)


tournament chat is brutal, i'd guess most people miss it entirely most of the time

but I wonder if they're harder to spot on the mobile app

i think its easier on mobile actually, since that puts a blinking red icon on the tournaments button, while on the web its just an extra blue link that gets added to the dashboard

as for the chat, yeah you wont notice that unless you look for it
or if you happen to visit the tournament page, which most people do only once (to join) or twice (to see who won when its finished)

Tournament chat is where those in the know go to diss those who don't know about it. Keep it a closely held secret. Thanks.
