The coin leaderboard will be freezing 24 hours prior to closing for the season. This is a dark period of suspense. It will allow players to make dashes for higher prizes.
It would only take someone three wins on a large game to take out Krzychu (who is currently in first place). So it is still anyone's game.
If the leaderboard is frozen more than 24 hours before closing, there may be more games played. As it is, I doubt that 24 hours is enough time to win three games on a largish map.

True that Thomas. This is more of a marketing "Spend more money!" type thing.
I think there should be some lower coin amount games. Some of us just can't afford to spend lots. 20 or even 50 coin games could be cool.
80 coins are the lowest. 500 coins would = 5 games if you were to lose them all which is a risk to us "Lower" win rate players. Obviously I know it's meant more for the gambling "Winners" but we need to think of the others too.
Maybe I'm the only one :)

I'm new to Warlight and was excited to finally find a game that brings real money into a risk-like strategy game. Literally been searching for this my entire life haha. I was extremely disappointed to find though, that the coin games have such little customization options, compared to free games. I simply wanted to create a game with classic risk rules, FFA and 5 players. Why this is not an option astounds me! This would bring bigger buy-ins and therefore a bigger rake for Warlight.
1v1 games are lame and coin games look to be nearly all 1v1. More players and bigger pots = more fun!

It's because FFAs and teamgames can be manipulated pretty easily. I explained it in one of the beginning posts about coin games. 1v1s can't be manipulated that easily and are the go-to source for random games. I could see something like you're talking about working better in a tournament format.
