Is anyone else getting a bit tired of people joining games, taking a couple turns then not taking a turn again at all?

Example: Name of game is "2v2 1 day boot"

time and time again people will join this game and take one or two turns then just not take a turn again for either days on end or never at all. I am tired of booting them because it gets old playing someone 2v1 or 3v2, ect... There should be a way to be able to punish someone furthur than merely booting them for this reason. I have no idea how a fair way to do that would be though.

I do not need people to respond with "quit whining", blah blah blah. Yall can save that for someone else.

I am just saying it would be nice to play more people with the intentions of completing a full game, according the the title of the game.

I agree Kurtis. The big games are even more annoying for people to do that in. I have thought about inviting, but its fun to play new people a lot ya know? It would be nice to have a system of x number of boots = a certain ban time from playing under that account. Some sort of incentive to keep people from joining games they know they either cant or wont finish playing. Thanks for the input!

Some of this may be due to the recent influx of new players. In a couple weeks I suspect it will happen far less.

If the punishment for being booted is a temporary ban they would just get booted from every other game they were playing. What if when you are booted, you are unable to join new games?

I can't imagine that would work for the new players who join and then, I guess, decide they don't like the game and never play again but I think it would discourage people from neglecting their games. Actually, I really have no idea why someone can't make their turn in a 2 day boot game. I've seen people 'request' time off from multi-day game and return a week later. Everyone is fine if they KNOW you're gone. But really, when someone goes missing then gets booted I never hear of a reason.
