I know I'm new here, but I already have something that annoys me: people complaining about how people aren't taking their turns... in a game with turn times in days... after only a few minutes. It's to the point where at least one person actually surrendered out of sheer impatience! If you wanted to play a 5-min-boot game, join a 5-min-boot game.

Yeah, the problem is that new players often play single-player first, and expect multi-player games to move just as fast. As there has been a recent influx of new players, this problem should get better over the coming weeks as players learn how to check the boot time. Don't let them bother you :)

I'm also working on a way to help educate players on the significance of looking at the boot time before joining a game.

Thanks for the reply Randy. Will you also be taking an overall look at the game from the perspective of "real-time" or "fast" games and making several changes/additions? Since the game was designed around slow games to begin with, there are a few issues that could benefit from such tweaking. I don't know if a list would help you or you just taking a look at the overall game and tweaking it for real-time as you see it?

This is definitely a pretty common occurrence. Thankfully, most times if you simply let them know that this is a 3 day boot game, they will admit they didn't notice and stop complaining.
