The problem, Dan, is that if you make the turns 36 hours, the games tend to take like a month to finish. We prefer a fast pace of play but understand not everyone can do that, which is why we've gone from 8-10 hour turns to 16 hour turns with banking.

As always, it's just a matter of each player knowing what he or she can commit to when joining a game.

We changed our templates to compromise with people who aren't used to our speed, but anything beyond what we have now and the games move too slowly for our tastes.

This isn't a knock on slow boot times or anything, just an explanation of what we prefer for pace of play.
