this has been brought to fizzer, the question is who controls the ai in anything bigger than 2v2.

that's a very good question. i think same thing should be work as on color picking. whoever joins first or higher level, has authority to chose color and leads

i disagree. i know how annoying a booted teammate is but giving one player authority over the team goes against a lot of wz values. both metrics you mention are not fair and higher level does not equal better player.

Leaving a malfunctioning or suboptimal system as it is for the sake of adhering to "WZ values" only serves to fuel complaints. Moreover, you're not giving control to the opposing team; you're giving it to someone you mutually agreed to play with, who, in most cases, is not as foreign as the opposing team.

Additionally, the current complaints are about correcting the ridiculous decisions made by the AI and addressing irresponsible teammates. If, in the scenario you mentioned, we see as many complaints as we do now, then adjustments should be made based on those complaints at that time. If you propose remaining idle in the face of a problem as a solution, I must respectfully disagree with you on that point.

To many issues would arise.

- How to make it clear that XYZ has now control over a player and actually makes orders. The people playing here are not the brightest at times, or quickly tab out, or X or Y. Will be to confusing for some, and if its to confusing, then its not viable.

- How to handle time? When someone boots and a player takes over, how is the game supposed to handle if that player boots now while trying to do now twice the amount of orders? You cant extend the boot-timer, or it will be abused to frustrate and take hostage other players, but keeping the timer means the player now playing for two might not have time to make orders to begin with. Plus, Fizzer would have to apply a lot of new logic to deal with what you seemingly seem to think "simple addition".
This is no "okay lets work on 5 minutes for this feature" but a "okay we have to properly plan this, consider all edge cases, ect, ect for weeks". I doubt its hardly worth the effort for Fizzer, and i speak from experience.

- Abusing to have a strong player take over. Playing with Multi-Accounts on ladder is now for some time disallowed. But this would effectivly allow it again, as one player could just constantly boot, giving the stronger teammate both accounts to play with, and taking rank 1.. which the player constantly beeing booted of would also get credit for, even tho he quite literally... did nothing. And im sure there are more way to abuse this. Ofcourse you could "turn it off" for ladders, but then thats more confusing again, and reduces the value to put in the effort in the first place.

- Many more problems would probably arise that im currently just not thinking off.

Ultimately the problem is:
The feature will likely be abused
It takes quite a bit of effort to do it
Bugs will likely arise, adding even more time to a project that is just not interesting.
Promotes bad behavior (i.e. booting purposly)
Waste of time.
Existing feature already exists for boots (AI plays)
