kinda of a suprise I haven't seen any mention of the disappearering mercenary camps, but I got to give a big thumbs up to this. Very nice quality of life impovement here.

yeah its great that its now being removed, major improvement over what it was before

would be even better if there was a setting or button to temporarily show all empty camps, because you sometimes need to know which camps you already emptied

I liked to have them on the list since I basically did control + F to count merc camp.

If I know the stage had let say 30 merc camps then I did:

Control + F "available for" and if it said 22 matches then I know I'm missing 8.
Control + F "0 available for" tells me how many are drained
Control + F "B available for" tells me how many still have troops (usually K and M camps are drained already so I use B)

I mainly use (#Found - #Drained) to calculate #WithTroops so 3rd command is fairly niche.

It does not matter if you can finish the stage in 1 sitting since it requires a refresh to trim the list so it does not affect me. But If it takes long enough that you close the map or refresh you lose valuable information.

I would prefer an option that makes it a user choice like JK3 said. I would also like an option to hide most of the different icons on the maps since they are more of a resource drain if anything making it slow(?). I don't need to see all the icons of the conquered mines/market/mortars/AC/etc and would prefer less visual clutter.

Don’t like that they disappear. Having to manually count on map is tedious

So it sounds like them disappearing isn't actually the issue then, but that players have more an issue with not knowing how many are hidden.

A simple "XX empty mercenary camps are hidden" would fix the issues raised in this thread.
